Most likely will purchase at launch:
- Metro Redux: Played a bit of 2033 on PC and enjoyed that and held off on buying Last Light on the previous gen consoles so will definitely get this once it hits.
- Destiny: Was skeptical prior to getting hands on with the game, still concerned ona few issues but enjoyed the core of what I played and hopefully the final game can build on what the Alpha/Beta offered.
- Driveclub: Me and the group of people I regularly play games with were huge Motorstorm 1 fans but the follow ups felt more and more diluted. Hoping Driveclub is a return to form, will definitely try the PS+ version first and the get the full version if it ticks the right boxes.
- Far Cry 4: Really enjoy the series when it all clicks together (weird how Ubi has stayed close to the original Far Cry while Crytek has moved further away with each Crysis title) and the setting and potential co-op madness has me very excited for this.
Undecided on waiting or getting at launch:
- Alien Isolation: Like the look and sound of this but will definitely have to wait and see/hear more about it before I decide to get it on day one. Hope its more of a adventure and exploration aspect to it then just a run and hide style title like Outlast.
- Dragon Age Inquisition: Enjoyed Origins and so far this is looking promising with it's open world and borrowed bits and pieces from Mass Effect. Could do with this delivering for my 2014 RPG needs since Witcher moved to 2015.
- Project CARS: I'm hoping we get some sort of demo for this to be honest, I love my racing games (especially online) but it's a genre that is best judged by going hands on with yourself... Also depends on how many of my friends end up getting it.
Down the line purchase after a price drop:
- Tomb Raider Definitive Ed: Still waiting for this to drop some more in price... never played it on last gen and have only heard good things so looking forward to it but in no rush.
- Thief: Was really excited for this when it was first announced, especially with having loved Deus Ex HR, but as it got closer and closer to release and more of the problems came to light this will now be a bargain pick up for me.
- Sniper Elite 3: Enjoyed what I played of v2 and this was one I would always end up getting at some point, unfortunately felt with v2 that the routine was a bit too samey so decided I could afford to wait a bit to get this cheaper.
- Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Ed: Will wait and see how well Blizzard supports the game with patches and updates before getting this one... Should make for a nice filler during a dry spell at a later point.
- Shadow of Mordor: This one was a hard one and I'm still somewhat undecided on, comes out during crazy season so have had to limit how many titles I buy, but if Alien or Dragon Age end up faltering this is the first likely replacement.
- The Evil Within: Another title I was really excited for when announced and has since become less enthusiastic about as we have gotten closer to release and we have had a chance to see more gameplay.
- Evolve: I'm someone who likes a good story mode or campaign in his games and when I play online I usually do so with people I am familiar with rather than randoms. So while I like the look of this I can't justify it as a full price purchase to myself.
- Assassin’s Creed Unity: Way behind on the Assassins Creed series with most of the titles still to be played in my backlog and yet to buy Black Flag, so while this looks real nice it can wait.
- Lords of the Fallen: Another one that hits in October and had to be unfortunately be cut... Much like Shadow of Mordor this is one I'm keeping a eye on in case any of my intended purchases disappoint.
- CoD Advanced Warfare: Currently on the list because I like the look of what Sledgehammer have shown off so far, if they can deliver on the promise then it's the CoD title since 4 that I'll jump back on.
- The Crew: Big fan of Driver SF, probably the only open world racer that really worked in my opinion due to its swap in and out of any vehicle mechanic. But that seems to have gone and whats left hasn't really impressed me in term of handling/structure.
- Grand Theft Auto V: Didn't buy it on last gen and no real interest in the online aspect as it is currently, will wait and see when and if they implement Heists and how well that works before getting this at some point.
Probably missed out a few titles as well, also what ever happened to The Witness??
