That trailer spoiling Bayonetta 1 is the least of your concerns if spoilers bother you.
Really? I remember that it was semi-confirmed by a Nintendo PR, but not by Nintendo itself.
I e-mailed Amazon at the speed of sound on this one, as I've had this on preorder since June. Will tentatively preorder from GAME unless Amazon say their first edition one is like that shiny sparkly thing in the Direct.
Can't wait to get this. Not usually that great at Character Action games of the DMC variety, and I never tried Bayonetta last gen, so several birds in one stone methinks with this purchase.

I still don't know what the plot of Bayonetta 1 is. It's really irrelevant to enjoying the game.
Ever since the Wii/DS era NoE has been pretty cool. Except for Brawl and the Super Paper Mario thing their releases have been steady. Hope that with the recent firings at NoE they won't regress though

W101 was a unique take on the character action game that had a learning curve that reviewers didn't have time for.

The first game had alt colors for a lot of costumes, so this probably will too
Chill, I don't mean much by it except that a lot of Nintendo fans I know couldn't care less about Bayonetta. It's just extremely disheartening because the game is looking legit great so far and I want to hope that enough people are paying attention.
It's a little like Lebron going to Miami. Some of those feelings.

And holy cow, we are going to get the OG Japanese boxart for Bayo 1. Nintendo also changed the Bayonetta 2 artbox back to the first version. Kamiya being mad worked.

The first one was universally lauded and it's a less complicated/niche of an action brawler than TW101 so I can see the reception being a lot more charitable similar to the first one unless it falls into some glaring pitfalls. Maybe a couple digits less for the first one already having broken the new ground for the action genre.
Now let's wait for next week announcement.

The thing is, if people cared then Bayonetta 2 would have already been made and out on other consoles. Nintendo stepped in because no one else wanted the project.
