Rather than an individual game for 3D Hd, I'd expect them to remake it and put it with 1.5 and 2.5 on next gen systems for the xbox fans and those didn't own a PS3.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5/3DHD days keyblade master collection.

Also, isn't it kinda contradictory saying everything is going smoothly and then immediately mentioning engine troubles?

its not contradictory at all, its all part of the development process, I'm sure its budgeted for, albeit at the programers' expense.

On topic: Love that line about sora being invincible. Thats what i love the most about KH games. Sora becomes a fucking god by the end and every time i beat a boss in those games i smack talk to them saying stuff like "who told you to fuck with sora?! you don't fuck with sora!"

Well, to be fair, they're in pre-production, so if it's just rendering, it probably isn't that big of an issue yet when Nomura still haven't landed on the story progression and worlds that needs to be finalised for asset creation.

If Disney wants a Star Wars world, there's not a whole lot EA can do about it. Besides, I can't imagine EA would be upset if KH3 got a Star Wars world, as that would have very little crossover with how they're going to be handling the IP with their own games.

I would totally buy a KH DDD remaster at $60 (with or without KH3 demo). I had a lot of fun with the gameplay (even if the story went off the deep end in the last 10%). Flowmotion wasn't that amazing for the combat, but it did make earning upgrades like high jump/glide/etc pointless.

They should do a Kingdom Hearts Ultimate HD Collection which includes all the games from 1 and 2 final mix HD along with DDD HD and a demo for 3 for PS4 and XB1.

I strongly disagree.

KH3D is a good KH, not a sub-par one like 358/2 days.
Most of the worlds are new (and vast, even if they are still empty), exploration and platforming are back, and the gameplay with the flowmotion system is one of the best in the series.
Well, ok, story sucks. But it sets up an epic conflict between light and darkness for KH3 !

This serie was devided to many different platforms, so I really enjoy that SE is doing this remaster. I just hope they bring the entire collection to both PS4 and XB1. Since both are getting KH3.

Lots of new worlds they can add with Disney now owning the Star Wars and Marvel ip. Not seeing anything Star Wars related will be pretty disappointing.

I amnot playing the HD collection until KH3 is within a visible release date.


No use torturing myself,I already managed to get KH out of my system over the past generation so no need to get addicted to it again until the actual new game is with in reasonable reach.

The biggest thing I'm curious about with KH3 will be how they handle the opening. KH2 did it pretty well filling in the gaps for those who didn't play COM, but there are far to many now that are important.

I'm not sure. I mean, now it's done and
the conflict between the 7 of Light and the 13 of Darkness has been set up, so there is no need to use this time travel shit again, right ? I hope it will not introduce more twisted plots, and focus on the ultimate battle with Xehanort (and his many other forms).

I tend to agree.
The test of Mastery is done, they've pulled the curtains back on the past events, only way left is forward. Maybe we'll get some flashbacks, but time travel? Nah

Edit: added spoiler tags that I don't think are really needed but just in case...

Would buy that Day 1 on PS4 in an instant, especially sinceI have yet to get 1.5 (or 2.5 obviously since it's not out yet).

I doubt it'll happen though. Or maybe it will but it'll be exclusive to the PS3 to screw with people just like the MGS Legacy Collection.

Not putting Frozen into it would be silly considering its worldwide popularity. If this game somehow drops in 2015 it would also match up with a Frozen Fever short I think Disney is working on.

3D is really fun, so an HD version version that more people could play would be awesome.

I also like the idea of a Frozen world, I think it would fit very well. Toy Story world is of course a no brainer, it needs to be in.

Just abandon the damn Luminous for current projects and go with UE4 or something if that is the reason for engine issues. They even seem to have given up on that when it comes to XV. Oh well whatever.
