So Dracula X will be the first PCE/TG-16 in the U.S. eShop, about time we started getting TG-16 games on Wii U.

- Animal Crossing: New Leaf - $19.99 (reg. $29.99)
- Star Fox 64 3D - $29.99 (reg. $39.99)
- Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D - $19.99 (reg. $29.99)
- Kirby's Dream Land 2 (VC) - $2.49 (reg. $3.99)

- Kirby's Dream Land (VC) - $2.49 (reg. $3.99)
- Pac-Man & the Ghostly Adventures - $11.99 (reg. $19.99)
- Game & Watch: Donkey Kong Jr. (DSiWare) - $1.49 (reg. $1.99)
& yes, WTF at Star Fox 64 3D's price being $30 DISCOUNTED.
Here's Wii U:
- Pikmin 3 - $39.99 (reg. $59.99)
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze - $29.99 (reg. $49.99)

You're thinking of Rondo of Blood. Dracula X was the SNES version. So Dracula X will be the first PCE/TG-16 in the U.S. eShop, about time we started getting TG-16 games on Wii U.

Wrong game, son. It's the SNES kinda-port, the one with the subtitle "Vampire's Kiss" in PAL-land.
I wanted this game so bad, but they ruined it completely and utterly. In addition to them apparently cutting a ton of content in localization for some ridiculous reason, it has NO multiplayer. At least for me that makes it useless, and it's definitely the most butchered game they've put out, at least in years. How are the Yu-Gi-Oh games? I've been dying to play a good TCG on the 3DS, and with ZEXAL being the only option I'm actually considering downloading it. I don't particularly care for the actual TCG or the animated series, but can someone vouch for these titles?
Is Art of Balance any good? I've been considering it, since I love puzzle games and the game looks gorgeous, but figure I'll get some views on it first.
I've only played the Wiiware game and the 3DS demo and I liked it a lot. It's easily my favorite game by Shinen (I found all their games are decent to good, but have some questionable design choices or lack some gameplay polish here and there). If you like puzzles and like what you've seen of Art of Balance, you're probably gonna have a good time with it. Rest assured that it's a complete, well-designed game with care and work put into it, it's not half-assed at all. If the 3DS demo is still up, maybe try it out first? Is Art of Balance any good? Yes, it's very good. It's a great example of a simple concept executed perfectly. The gameplay has an addictive "one more level" quality to it, and the puzzles are quite satisfying to complete; they're often really challenging and force you to think outside of the box to figure out the best way to stack the blocks. The Wii U release is based on the 3DS version of the game, which on top of the 100 basic puzzles from the Wiiware version, included an additional 100 puzzles which introduce new gameplay mechanics, as well.

Smart of some indies to put their stuff on sale at the same time as the new Smash sale week. Other noteworthy sales (US) include:
The Letter - $0.49 ($1.99)
Apparently the shittiest game of all time, but for the cost to mail a letter, I went ahead and downloaded.
Armillo - $4.99 ($7.99)
Really good indie game, already bought it at full price after the patch and don't regret it. Get it.
Frederic: Resurrection of Music - $2.99 ($5.99)
Looks interesting and I'd like a rhythm game. I imagine warts and all that I'll get my 3 bucks out of it though, that's a nice "try me" price.
Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures - $11.99 ($19.99)
A retail title for $12? I've read some okay things about it so I'll take the chance. Part of the Smash sale but I'm mainly posting about what I'm buyin' today anyway.
The Starfox 64 3D price peeves me too. It should've been one of the games that dropped to $29.99 and been on sale for $19.99 with this sale.God, that Star Fox 64 3D price... Though I'm not sure what I was expecting. Nothing for me in the smash sale this week, though it doesn't surprise me because I already have all the games in this week's franchises that even remotely interest me (except Star Fox, but I could still get that $10 cheaper than the sale price buying a used copy).
Funny thing is that $0.49 only gains him $0.19 per sale. Though likely a lot download it, so ends up giving him a good bunch.
Just like any other digital storefront, yes.Ah so Nintendo have a minimum cut they take then

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror is a bit of a departure from regular Kirby games, as it's more Metroidvania-esque with a large open map instead of being linear with a secret or two each stage....which for some (like myself), doesn't work because where as in games like Metroid, the map starts off small & gets bigger as you gain more upgrades, weapons, etc., so it's easier to explore and know where you've already been.So what's the consensus on Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and/or PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures?
Yeah, way it works is that it's normally 30% cut for normal price. But, during a sale, they take 30% of the sale price or 15% of the original price.
So for the case of The Letter:
30% of sale = $0.147 take
15% of original = $0.2985 take
Since the 15% take is higher, they take that. Basically once you get below 50%, you end up not gaining as much.
so is Europe getting the 3DS Retail Download 1st party sales?

Yes the map straight up sucks. When I replayed it on VC recently I basically had a usable map on my iPhone next to me the entire time. It's because the map isn't very good. Zoom in to be sure you're not missing any one-way doors. Even then certain doors take a few trips to actually figure out. I really don't like the one-way doors and how it's not always possible to tell which door goes which way from the map.
