Just like I did with 3D Land, I went on eBay and bought myself a physical copy of Starfox for less than the sale price. Hopefully this will come with a working CN points card as well.
What I've run into with niche Japanese games vs. mainstream games (for example) is that it isn't just that "a game is a game," but each game is unique content that appeals to different people, and the price for certain kinds of content (for instance, Rune Factory 4 sells for $39.99 still a year later, but Killzone Shadowfall is $29.99) is based on the market and demand for that kind of content, and the competition among people creating that content for people who want that content. So I gladly paid $39.99 for Rune Factory because it's content that not many others are creating, and I wouldn't begrudingly go "but Killzone is cheaper" because I know that the game that each developer created is unlike the other, and if I wanted more Rune Factory-ish games, well, not many people are making that kind of content, so they've got me by the balls So the pricing for one type of content is totally different from the other. Likewise, the value of a game such as Star Fox, to the people who are willing to buy it, is not dependant on the value of Animal Crossing, because the content is totally different and appeals to different people.
How's Donkey Kong country returns 3D?
Donkey Kong is ELEVEN GIGS!?
How? Why? I may need to rethink this.
That makes some sense but again, any pricing strategy also takes into account demand, and im sure there is literally no demand for this title, its almost as if they dont want to sell it.
I really don't understand how did they convert Dollars to Mexican pesos:
Pikmin 3: 40USD ---> 700MXN
DKC:TF: 30USD ---> 650MXN
Was hoping to get Tropical Freeze for about 500MXN, I guess I'll keep waiting for now
- Uncompressed audio. That David Wise sountrack... hhhhnnnnggggg
- HD CGI cutscenes.
- Something something great fur physics/asthetics something something.

I'm sure a lot of it is the huge amount of uncompressed audio in the game, which is well worth it considering how incredible the soundtrack is.Yeah that is pretty ridiculous. I had no idea. Must be cut scenes. Nintendo has been great releasing games at small file sizes so yeah. I don't even have that much space left on my console and I don't really want to get an HDD.
It is most likely to be 32kHz compressed because that is how Nintendo did things on the Gamecube, Wii and 3DS (with some exceptions).How do people know Tropical Freeze has uncompressed audio? I don't want another repeat of the MGS4 myth.

Should bave stocked up when Target had all currency cards for 25% off.
DDP is another few dollars back as well.
Pretty much the same as the Wii version.How's Donkey Kong country returns 3D?
I never got to play Returns on Wii, so getting to play it on 3DS will be nice. I'm assuming it's the better version anyway, what with no forced motion controls.

Oh man, look at those "massive sales".
Donkey Kong (NES) $3.49

Tropical Freeze for $30?! I have less than 3 GB on my Wii U... God damn it Nintendo, why did you put only a 32 GB hard drive in it!? ;___; I don't even know if I can buy an external drive at the moment...
How's Donkey Kong country returns 3D?
How's Star Fox 3D, honestly?
I loved the N64 one and still have it. Is it worth it to double dip?
Probably because Star Fox 3D isn't being sold at retail anymore so they can price gouge. Same reason Ocarina of Time 3D didn't go on sale.
Tropical Freeze and Pikman 3 are a steal at those prices... Bought both at launch, no regrets.
Animal Crossing is the kind of game I advocate getting digitally. You never have to worry about if the cart is in your system so you can boot it up and do your chores for a few minutes, it's just always available
