All the RE's that stress ammo management have had an unlimited rocket launcher, magnum, etc. feature if you beat under so many hours. I'd be surprised if Mikami didn't add this to the game.

Bethesda says its for aesthetic reasons, but we all know why they are truly there.

So I played around with the PS4 screen size setting and zoom functions on my plasma TV and every setting looks like crap. Guess those black bars are sticking around for 15+ hours.

At first I thought of Regent of the Mask from NG3
but he wasn't really introduced all that well. I'm happy there is some sort of mystery to Ruvik. He does give himself off as a Wesker type, but Wesker also had a great scene in Code Veronica that helped him out.

Am I the only one who finds Sebastian's flinch animation odd when he's looking at the ceiling of spikes? Looks super jerky.
Yep, I can't wait for what the NG+ might have. I wonder if we'll get a Red9 in this.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Dialogue wise. Maybe? We haven't really heard much dialogue. Character wise I think Ruvic is already an extremely intriguing character. I wanna know more about him and I think to be honest he has a great shot at becoming an iconic character much like Wesker. When it comes to the story I think it looks interesting with a lot of potential (I usually don't give a crap about stories unless it's a visual novel). This one looks thought out from the start with quite a bit of ambition. If you've been following the game you'll know that the game has a ton of backstory too. It's not going to be as straight forward as LOL he was crazy the whole time. It'll have much more depth and meaning than that. They have a lot to work with and if they can pull it off it's going to be pretty great.
It'll probably be a day before the game comes out, just like how it is with most games that are published by Bethesda.

Yeah. I hope people realise that this isn't too similar to how Resident Evil 4 plays. Presentation wise, the over the shoulder camera, the enemy hit reactions, the mostly linear environments etc are all very Resident Evil 4. However when it comes to gameplay it looks much more closer to REmake. Like the trailer said, your gonna have to make every bullet count here, unlike in Resident Evil 4. Ammo is scarce and even if you manage to keep finding some the game will restrict you to a low limit anyway. You will have to think much more with how your going to approach the enemies. This is looking like REmake with a little bit of Resident Evil 4, not the other way around.

As hyped as I am for the game, I'm gonna wait. Not like the price is gonna change or I'll be able to download them any sooner. lol.

Don't forget Tropical Freeze. People were shitting all over it and Retro when it was announced. And now many are calling it the best 2D platformer of all time.
What does that even mean?
I've found the majority of DLC releases to be mediocre anyways, generally wait until sales and GAF consensus to pick up the pieces.

I have not been following this game and was really surprised when I heard the protagonist's name. It's going to be cool to play as a Hispanic in this game.

just put an hour into SoM and I am actually more excited for TEW.
This trailer had me excited. I think that's why. I have to cool down.
They have TEW photo maker on iOS. Make some great pictures and send them to people.

Some sort of challenge or survival arena, like mercenaries mode from Resident Evil.
Imagine survival mode with many different types of enemies and random enemy placement. You have options to craft and find weapons on the map, then there are traps and stealth. And then there are also different charaters to play as with unique loadouts (Sebastian, his two partners....) and outfits.
Mercenaries mode in RE4 was absolutely fantastic . Dat village map !

What are your thoughts on the game's portrayal of people with chronic fungal infections?
I thought it was a little unfair and unsympathetic, so I wrote to my MP about it (he has a fungal growth problem)

I'm now cautiously optimistic about both of those games. This trailer definitely put this one in the positive territory but I think I'll hold off and wait for reviews on both before I take the plunge. Destiny aftertaste and all...
