Ok you're right guys. The resolution of the Halo 2 campaign shouldn't prevent me from having a lot of fun with this amazing collection.
I'm just gonna skip the Halo 2 campaign.
http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/10...o-the-master-chief-collection-story-ign-first or http://youtu.be/anxw9V42Xf4I am sorry for not reading every page, but there is H4 footage? Can I have a link please? That would be too kind
You MUST be trolling right? I refuse to believe this is a genuine reply.Ok you're right guys. The resolution of the Halo 2 campaign shouldn't prevent me from having a lot of fun with this amazing collection.

They said 1920x1080 @60fps for every fucking game in this collection.
I don't want this switch feature! I want real 1080p! I know how the game looked like 10 years ago.
Such a stupid decision. I want to cancel my preorder and boycott the shit out of this game, even-though I am a huge Halo fan.
1328 x 1080: 1434240
900p: 1440000
So not even 900p.

Btw, the dual game rendering also reminded me recent test from Digital Foundry's i7 5960X review

Puts some things into perspective about this generation.
1100$ cpu can run two games worse then just one. Wow .
Am I wrong to assume that Halo 4 running at 1080p/60 will most definitely look better than a lot of PS4/XB1 games ?

I've never actually played Halo 4 :lol
How good is it? Shit, I don't think I even played Reach either. Just ODST

Resolution talk aside, the IGN preview footage is seriously impressive. 60fps Halo is going to look glorious on my TV.
Stupid question warning: With TMCC, can I play the actual Halo 1 multiplayer component over Xbox Live now or is it still running in a separate engine like Halo Anniversary's was?

A halo 4 Comparison shot.
X360:
XONE
Halo 4 gonna look sick
360
Very wrong. Everybody noticed the blurry image quality when comparing to sp.Its funny how people freak out about the resolution. The multiplayer of KZ:SF didnt run in 1080p either and nobody noticed until the eurogamer article came out months later.
Trolls gonna trollThese comments... not sure if this is NeoGAF or the IGN comment section.
hehe
Well it's 60fps at least, but we can forget about Halo 5 being 1080...
Dat stigma of not having '1080' in your resolution calculation. Can't believe they're making such design choices to mitigate the perceived weakness of their hardware. Now they can say it's 'not quiiiiite' 1080p when in reality is not 'quiiiiite' 900p.
+ Endless, balanced multiplayer

You said something pretty weird and this is the reaction to it.
It runs 2 game engines simultaneously. You can switch between the original Halo 2 engine and the Anniversary engine on the fly.
Is it bad that I'm most excited to play the Halo 4 campaign?
Me too!
It is in my top 3 campaigns along with H2 and ODST.
