Lords of the Fallen |OT| We don't praise the sun around here

I wonder does the ps4 cache data because yesterday I couldn't play longer than 10 minutes without a crash. Played last of us for an hour & today I played for 2 hours with no crashes.

I have had audio issues with Lords of the Fallen, has not crashed yet though. Also the one
mini boss with the long spear kept teleporting on me.
The camera gives me problems time to time and you can make some of the enemies continuously run in the same spot. Weird glitches. Over all I am still enjoying the game, I kind of wish I didn't make a rogue for my first play through. Having a hard time. :(

Damn, it makes all the difference in the world with Ram and Rage. I really like the timing system on your swings as well. Definitely makes the combat have a better flow to it.

So I figured out a bug with the graphics settings, it seems that if you press no to accepting the changes you've made (even if you changed nothing), it will revert some settings like turning turbulence back on if you have it off...weird stuff.
Yeah in-game settings are broken for some weird reason. Just edit them in settings.ini.

3/3 Ram hitting for 250dmg, those shielded fat guys have nothing on me

I should really try out ram. I did unlock it but I never actually tried it lol. I think it was because I kind of had low expectations after prayer and rage being too long of a cast.

I did, both of them, it still does it lol.

Ram is AMAZING. Line up a bunch of enemies and let it loose. So good.

Is it just me or are some of the regular enemies you come across harder than what you typically find in the Souls series? It is not bad at first, but damn does it ever get dangerous.

Hm, I would say so but they're not entirely balanced. I don't know, maybe it's because the roll isn't as effective for counter-attacks in this game and I rely on the roll being awesome in Souls. I've said it before, the mobs recover from their attacks way too fast. It's a good evasion tool most of the time, you just can't counter with it.

I can't get past the first boss. The game crashes 100% of the time during that encounter :(

Wish I had that excuse, I died 15 times and I pretty much rage quit the game. Not the game's fault btw, I just pretty much suck at these Dark Soul-esque games but I thought might a bit more forgiving than the Souls series...it was not :(

Just start the game with the blue spells and you start with the clone :)

Also, the game IS much more forgiving than souls, but it's not easy per se

I'm still enjoying it too. Have you tried the solace magic tree for your rogue to make him more sturdy? I love the fist weapons. Wish you could raise crit hit chance & not just damage.

These 2 doors in the Chamber of Lies are driving me crazy, I have no clue how they are supposed to be opened. I found a couple new keys that I have no idea where they are supposed to used, I can't finish the game until I find everything...

Hug it out bro, it pained me to leave catacombs with stuff to find, I only did it because I knew the game would send me there anyway and I had been there almost 3 hours lol

Two things.

1. Dunno if this was already mentioned but the runes are randomized upon crafting, not on pickup. Soooo...I'm not sure anything more needs to be said ;)

2. For any of the rolling dog type creatures (so far there are poison and fire types) both very large and small, you just need to be quite a bit away from them when they start their death animation if you don't want the game to crash, if it's been crashing on those for you. I just killed one of the larger ones four times in a row, and four times in a row the game would crash as its death animation began. On the fifth time, I just ran as far as I could away and it didn't crash. Seems to only happen with the fire version though.

I wonder if looking away so that the enemy is not on screen when it explodes would help. I've only crashed on the very first one I fought so I haven't been able to test it...

Oh wow, so I guess I found a missing NPC I think some of you guys might be wondering where he is if he disappears on you like he did to me. The one by the infiltrator boss that asks you for human skulls, he moves over to the entrance of the place. If you just head upstairs from the boss area until you reach the top you will hear him yell and you will find him on the right. Since I found every human skull I finished his quest and the reward is
a pretty baller trinket that leeches both magic and health.

After you first enter the Demon realm, you just talk to the forger that's standing at the forge. He was asking for a rune or something, but I'm not actually sure if it was a specific rune from a chest or boss or just any random rune, because I spoke to him again and after that you will be able to summon him anywhere there's a forge. Before you gain the ability to summon him, he can still unlock runes for you at that one location.

All you do is talk to him, hit craft, then you see unidentified small and large runes. You can pay experience to increase the likelyhood that the runes will be of a superior quality. 500g max XP for the smaller and 1000 for the larger. Runes are random when identifying them.

After they are identified, just put them into sockets. You can also remove them with no penalty.

Side note about the Prayer spell. I did not know this until just now, but the spell actually has weight. You can use it to hold down pressure plates. There's one specific door in The Pit that you cannot access any other way. You can actually bug the door out so that it remains open by standing on the plate yourself, and then dashing to the door, but when you try to enter it still says that it's locked. Anyway, you get what *might* be the best weapon in the game. Not sure yet. It's a sword that powers up after each kill. Even if it starts out weak, you can weapon swap during fights so that it gets the killing blow.

Does he give you more than one item? Because I gave him 25 skulls and got a really good
shield.

There was 2 pressure plate puzzles in the catacombs for the prayer spell sanc :)

Thanks for the info on the runes, so that's why I've found a few anvils I couldn't interact with

Also Sanc, you seem to be half liking it but half annoyed at some stuff, so you see yourself doing NG+?

If you are talking about the plate in the
cave area that is right next to the boss arena, I just stepped on the plate, dashed and made it in.

Is there another? I think there may also be one in the Citadel, or even two. I've found two plates, and can hear something opening and then eventually shutting, but I haven't actually found any gates or doors.

Maybe a new game, but not NG+. Don't really see the point. There are things I don't really care for with the game, but they aren't really enough for me to shelve it yet. The biggest issue is the fucking constant crashes.

I am waiting for the first major patch, and then I'm devouring this game. I look at it on my Steam games list every day :(

THANK YOU. I walked all the way back and when I saw he was gone, I was so pissed lol.

which area is the pit again? I'm doing so bad with remembering areas, wish the names of them would pop up everytime you enter them...weird thing is I thought they did before, but I'm not seeing them anymore.

Yes. The shield was the first item I got from him, then he vanished and I found him again just now. Giving him the rest of my skulls gave me the final reward.

Does anyone have the trophy for doing all the proving grounds? I assume those are the challenges where you fight waves of enemies but I'm pretty sure I've done all of them and still haven't got it. Apparently the trophy glitched out because I just went and did a proving ground I've done already and it popped after I left.

Yes in that
area you pass with two outdoor-ish round rooms (one has a trap hole in the middle) there is a plate hidden in a corner that opens the locked wooden door in the corridor before that, if you remember the locked door had another door in that corridor with a spider inside in the ceiling, and also a big shield guy in the corridor

That's the door I was talking about needing Prayer for. I haven't found any others in the Catacombs that can't be dashed.

It's one of two similar looking circular areas at the bottom of the Catacombs that has light shining down on the center, and it's lined by what look like tombs around the sides. There's The Pit and I think the other is "Well of Death" or something. One of them has a metal grate over the center, and the other has
wooden planks that can break.

Thanks, I only remember seeing one of those rooms, the one with the metal...lol time for more exploring! This game has so many secrets and hidden stuff, I love it.

Where can I farm exp? I'm mad salty about the 40k exp I lost, I don't need it as I'm not having a problem with the diff but it just bothers the hell out of me.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?

How did you lose 40k?

Also, what's the max item/xp-multiplier you can get?

Yeah I also did the catacombs first. The gutting part is that you have to go through them again after the portal area.

I didn't care for Demon's Souls. I know the difficulty is a part of it, but it just put me off the game. So when this is – by every damn reviewer around – mentioned as a not so difficult take on Demon's Souls, I'm curious. It looks sort of nice.

To buy or not? Hm.

gave to the

, now
they want me to get rid of some demon to clear the way, ive cleared the place and they still won go, what am I looking for? :(

have a lot of fun! I am still fighting with me. I mean, I could, my Xbox account is still charged with 80€ (which i paid 50€ for)..but..the reviews are so mixed..
I don't know what to do! *firstworldproblems*
Get it. I have no clue why some people are shitting on the game the way they are. The only other game this year that has kept my attention as much as this game has, was Dark Souls 2.

My enjoyment has gone up immensely after the first 2-3 hours. Now I'm all in, it has its roots in me and I can't pull away to beat Bayonetta 2.

The game is riddled with problems on pc. Glitchy menus, crashes, poor performance and such. If you can, I'd probably buy it on console. I have a pretty good system but i have to lower the settings quite alot. It still looks good but it's kinda dissapointing.

The game, without these problems, is really really good. But I'm gonna hold off playing it until a big patch comes out.

Hows about that
Guardian
Boss? Easily my favorite in the game. Though they trolled with the reward though,
he gets those two monster ass swords while we get stuck with daggers smh.
