All of the stuff about tactical cam controls and usability isn't particularly surprising, yet no less disappointing.

If you can't zoom out and detach the camera to a comfortable degree and have the proper hotkeys for fluid control, you're screwing up the only reasons anyone wants to use it.

Holy crap I thought I had this pre-ordered months ago, but I wasn't receiving any shipping notification and so I checked and NOPE. About fell out of my chair. I cant say i'm having issues playing the game with Mouse and Keyboard, but goddamn i hope someone fixes that godawful Tactical mode.
I've been thinking about using gamepad, but that would mean losing the ability to have that sweet UI at the bottom, no mouse to use, and no autorun. So i think i'll stick with Mouse and Keyboard. But that tactical mode so bad...

Is there like a tone or chime when you level up or get an achhievement? I'm sitting here with headphones on and no other apps and right before the first boss I heard 'Doodledoo". Shat myself a bit cause it was much louder than anything else. Happened again right after I beat it. Worried it's actually some kind of alarm :/

As for the game I'm liking it for what it is. It feels like what Dragon Age 2 should have been if they were trying to emulate the success of Mass Effect 2 (which is exactly what it felt like they were going for) feels very polished but very actiony aswell. I'm guessing not dar into the game is going to be a skill spam like DA2.

Still feel the direction they went in is a bit of a disappointment but I feel the same way of Mass Effect 2. I'm just happy I can customise companion armour again. Tactical camera gas some odd choices and I'm noticing I sometimes can't order teamates to take their potions in tac cam, having to go into regular view then select it.

Something that Mass Effect did that I was goping they would include was the quick ability wheel for all team members with rb on controller. It made it really simple to chain sone cool powers with minimum fumbling around. You cab still pull off the tactical stuff but it feels clunkier than just hammering A for awesome.

Essentially high hopes that it's a good successor. Presentation is very nice compared to the old DA and it is cool to see those old animations reused in swanky engine.

I also hate Varrick and always have. Does that make me a bad person.

Really looking forward to this after all the good reviews. Finished off story mode in Diablo 3 finally so as to not have 2 RPGs going at once.

Unfortunately I won't get to play until next Monday at the earliest as I'm out of town for work tomorrow through Saturday night (and the game will be waiting at the P. O. Maybe I could get it Saturday night if they ship it in a padded mailer that will fit in the PO Box rather than in a box.

No one else has gotten the "DEVICE HUNG" error crash? Did some browsing and it's apparently common in origin games. That was the case with my crash. Hope there's a way to fix it.

Also the hair looks really BAD, am I missing something?

Anyone else getting mad stuttering during cutscenes on PC? The actual game runs smooth as silk for me but once a cutscene starts it stutters like a motherfucker.

Nice, I spend ages fixing my Dragon Age Keep save to be exactly how I had it in the games. Load it up again, all changed around for no reason. Good stuff, EA.

Think I had a bug too. When you get to the first combat area my clothes changed, and despite playing a mage, the "look for a weapon" scene had me staring at a bow and arrow. I also for some reason have some daggers in my inventory but the name is invisible.

I think the game thought I was a rogue given the clothing changes and I didn't find any mage gear for a while.

Whenever a character refers to me as "he" in a line of dialouge it also plays the one where I'm referred to as "she" at the same time. It's annoying hearing two lines say the same thing at slightly different times from the same person. Anyone else getting this?

I'm pretty sure my PS4 pre-load grabbed a patch along with the game. I don't know if that's to address these issues or some console-specific stuff though.

Jesus, a game that need day one patch isn't right.
I mean didn't they beta tested that game for months and showing if off around the web with their streams ?
