What are you expecting from the PS4 Plus games going forward?

So when we first heard (officially) about Plus getting full PS4 retail games for the first time, we were told about Injustice and Infamous First Light. With both of those now out, February will (presumably) be the first month with a full PS4 game we don't yet know about.

My question is, what sort of calibre of games do you think we'll be getting in the full game slot for PS4 Plus going forward? Or will we even get a full game each month, or just go back to two digital games?

Personally I think we're going to be waiting for E3 for something like Killzone
and Knack
, so I'm expecting the next few months to be things like Tomb Raider DE/Thief/maybe NFS Rivals given there's a bunch of DLC to flog.

What do you reckon, GAF?

KZ and/or Knack would be my guess.

I've no intention of buying either but I'd be more than happy to have them as PS+ games.

A huge drop in quality after this month. The Swapper and First Light have made it the best month of PS4+ ever.

I just want some retail stuff I wouldn't have purchased otherwise.

Yeah, I think you're right with NFS. But I'd love to think they grab something more impactful like Wolfenstein.

With Japan getting Killzone SF, that's what I'm expecting for February.

I'd like to get Tomb Raider and Shadow Warrior in the future.

Indies, and hopefully come E3 some freebies or goodies, also more exclusive sales.

I really wish they could give us PS1 or PS2 titles though, that would be great.

Knack is the obvious candidate for a PS+ game, but I'm sure the people begging for full retail games are going to find a way to bitch about that too.

Shadow Fall
Knack
Battlefield 4
Assassin's Creed IV
Thief
Tomb Raider Definitive
Driveclub
Lego Marvel
Need For Speed Rivals

At least one of these games should make it to PS+ within the first 5 months of this year.
They are pretty old, and perfect for PS+ tbh.

Don't worry, I'll vouch for them.
Moar reaall gamez!

Personally I am looking forward to even more indies with a few retail games interspersed.

Knack
Killzone
Driveclub (full version)
Tomb Raider DE
Resident Evil: REmake
The FF VII port
Amazing Spiderman 2
At least 16 total indie games for 2015

Neither the PS4 nor the Xbox One has a big enough retail library to be throwing around big 'free' games.

Especially once they start, it sets a precedent.

Look back at the PS+ and while some excellent retail games have been offered, most are at least 12-18 months old if not more.

Give it time, I am sure better games will be offered in time, but I don't expect anything significant until at least E3.

I'd be happy with this. The indies are more interesting to me because they are currently debuting on PS4 which means I haven't already bought them, and open they are titles I might not otherwise buy, so they show me new things.

Retail is fun but more likely I already bought it, which then frustrates me twice - I don't get a game to play this month, and why did I buy it originally (especially if it has satin played on my backlog)

I really hope people don't think once we get a AAA game that it'll be AAA from there on out.

We're gonna have indie months and AAA months and everything in between.

BF4 being free on EA Access, it's possible it'd be on PS+.

If EA can't get Access on PSN, they may as well take some money from PS+.

I don't mind indies at all. In fact I'd like to see more of them, but damn do Sony need to check the quality first. Some have been downright awful.

According to PS+ rules on Metacritic minimum, Knack will never be in the program, which is kind of sad because that's clearly the kind of game you would want to try but not to pay for.

I'm expecting something like Tiny Brains and Octodad. We'll probably get a set of AAA games around E3. Perfectly content with anything really.

But wasn't that only for the PS3? Did this also apply to the PS4 and Vita games?

I fully expect Journey to show up soon enough

Ditto. The fact that Journey PS4 has been finished since last year just means they are holding it back for Playstation Plus. And because it's already a crossbuy game, they probably figured they should just give it out for free because the people who already own it will just get it for free alongside everyone else, with the difference of that they already own the license to the game.

Then there is Knack that everyone has been guessing will be a PS+ game since the day it was released,

Octodad seems very likely to be PS+ simply because it has the option to use the move, and it's a indie game. So there's that.

Slender: The Arrival has been in development for the PS4 for a while now. I think the developers went forward to release the XB1.

Abe's Oddessy: New and Tasty: Just everything about this game screams PS+ to me. Probably not anytime soon, but soonish I expect.

What are the chances of Hotline Miami 2 being part of the IGC on release date just like Velocity 2X?

also
I could see some of these retail titles making it on the IGC this year;
-Walking Dead S1 (PS4)
-AC Rouge (PS3) probably by the end of the year
-Lego Marvel (PS4)
-Tomb Raider (PS4) although I kind think this might not happen given the fact that would act as free advertising for MS so that people can buy Rise of the TR
-MGS V Ground Zeroes (PS4)
-Trials Fusion (PS4)
-Sniper Elite 3 (PS4)
-BF4 (PS4)

as for the PSN games, they pretty unpredictable. Vita games, well... I can definitely see Freedom Wars coming sooner or later, I mean we got Soul Sacrifice 6 months after its release. As well as new release like Duke Nukem 3D.

More indie titles that aren't cross buy and more garbage that I don't want, like First Light and Injustice
