A Capcom UK representative told Eurogamer this morning that there are no plans to release Dragon's Dogma Online in the west, so don't hold your breath.

'No plans' is essentially a non-answer. Means nothing at this point.

I'll just import it.

May lock you out from logging into their servers from a western IP. Your best bet for getting in will likely be PC.

I'm waiting to see more as well, although I am optimistic. I think the one saving grace may be that the actual gameplay of Dragons Dogma is so much more involved and so much more fun than most MMOs. If they kept the combat from DD pretty much the same, or hey even expanded upon it, I think I'm ok with grinding, because the actual actions you take when grinding are fun in DD.
