so I guess its too much to ask for those of us who want to get hyped over the game, to have a thread without all the concern drivel and drive by sarcasm. Just two days ago I was really enjoying the gifs in the other thread (now closed)... Now you enter any Order thread and its overrun with garbage.

I am excited for it as well, but you cannot expect others not to have any sort of concerns or criticism. Sometimes it's hard to separate that from drive by posts and smart-ass comments, but those who are critical have a say as well.

That's not a shame, that's how discussion works. Threads are not meant to be happy boxes for people to go kumbaya over and over again.

But it's getting really tiresome with this game. So I'll say it again: if you feel someone is TROLLING, that is genuinely trolling ("WOW FILMIC LOL") then PM a moderator. If someone is voicing a negative opinion and it's not a drive-by and it's not a garbage post and it's not metacommentary on the thread, then you can either a) engage with them or b) ignore them. But do not complain about them.

Conversely, if someone is shouting down negative opinions, or is being unwelcoming to discordant views, then please PM me the name of that person with an example post.

In any case, you are not a moderator so do not moderate.

What we will not have in the thread is pulling in stuff from outside sources who have/do not have the game. It will be a GAF thread for gaffers.

Just give your impressions without spoilers in honest way and also provide some background information about your game likes which you prefer most in games with priority like story, graphics, gameplay, single/multi player etc., so users can use that as reference for their tastes to base your impressions for their purchase. Others who also want to share their impressions also requested to do same in your thread.

Why the need to be so reactive? Sony allowed them to make the game they obviously wanted to make.
Pre-orders are looking good. Now the game has to speak for itself.

For all the shit that The Order got from me for its really bad marketing strategy you can not say Ready At Dawn hasn't been completely honest every time they were asked what kind of game they wanted to make.

Every time when asked they clearly said that its a cinematic (smooth transitions from cutscene to gameplay in realtime) action game focused on story telling with history background. Also they admitted the approach they are taking in the gameplay section of this game is risky but still wanted to do as they don't like to rehash already working formula in new generation so wanted to try something new.
