Had $150 in Amazon gift cards so I decided to finally pull the trigger today and ordered the bundle. Will arrive on the 1st.
Now I need to look into upgrading my HDD for it so I might just put off downloading anything just yet and get a bigger HDD.

Yeah, I already play the charge-swapping game with my PS3, and I've heard it's significantly worse with the PS4, so I'll probably just get a second controller ASAP.

Anyone who ordered the bundle receive their promo credit yet?
Someone in this thread, or the other, posted that they did. I was curious if any more have.
I bought my bundle during the brief moment when the giftcard wasn't featured in the edition description, so I'm worried about that not automatically happening.

Yeah I got it right after it shipped. Same with the TLOU code.
Got the bundle today. They shipped the game and system separately, but the system does still come with the $10 PS Store card.
I thought I remembered reading that the balance will be automatically added to your account after the PS4 is delivered, not shipped. I still haven't received my $20, but my PS4 isn't going to get here until Wednesday.
I have received my TLoU code though.

Yeah, they sent me the TLoU code straightaway, but no promo yet. Will wait till after the system is received I guess, since the description of the promo does imply that much.
I got Bloodborne yesterday, but the system won't arrive till tomorrow.

I set the game and system to ship separately, bloodborne shipped out first and is scheduled to arrive today. I received the promo codes for both TLoU and the $20 the next morning when Bloodborne left their warehouse. Already used the promo credit to buy the camo controller which is on sale right now.
Also signed up for the 14 day free PSN trial so I could download Oddworld and Valiant Hearts while it was still available in March.

The PS4 I got in January had one, but the expiration date was March 2015.
Just chiming back in to say that we did in fact receive the $20 at the same time as the TLoU code, Mrs. Taquito's email address is the one associated with our Prime account and she didn't forward the notice to me.

My suspicions seemed to be correct, which were, I bought it between when the gift card edition was being updated or something, as it wasn't in the edition title, so it's not recognized as a gift card promo.
Customer service has assured me I am eligible for the deal, but looks like I'll need to contact them about not receiving it, anyway.
I'll wait till post delivery, then demand my free monies!

Finally pulled the trigger, and I picked up Type-0 HD as well. I still feel like even for the discounted price, there just isn't a lot of exclusives that I need the console for since PC is taking care of my multiplatform and indie game needs (I'm sure the exclusives will come eventually, but there's not a whole lot announced that interests me). But at least I'll have plenty to play on the console.
Ultimately, I knew I would eventually have to buy one for Bloodborne and wherever other exclusives would come out in the future, and I don't get the impression that there will be a better deal for a while, so I guess this is as good a time as any to pick one up. Luckily, I can afford to impulse buy expensive consoles that I don't need, as long as I don't do it too often. I'm glad I waited until now though.

Amazon already deposited my $20 into my account, so I might apply it towards FFX/X-2 remaster for PS4. I already redeemed my TLoU code via PSN last night, so it's in my download queue. Bloodeborne is coming from Phoenix, AZ via USPS while my system is shipping from Kentucky via UPS.
Incidentally, April 1st is my GAF anniversary (no joke) so what better way to celebrate than with my shiny new PS4 and Bloodborne.

So what is the current best replacement internal drive for the PS4? I'm receiving my console tomorrow and wondering if I should replace the drive before setting it all up?

There are some good ones out there, people usually recommend getting a hybrid drive to ease load times, like this one:

Edit: You can resell or use the 500GB stock drive the PS4 came with on your PS3 or Laptop.
Don't have anything but a PS2 atm, I got the shipping notice for the PS4 a few minutes ago, will be here Thursday.
I did start to create a PSN account but got stuck at the Online ID part since Carm is already taken =x. Looked up the name and shows zero for everything so it seemingly isn't really being used. Spoke to Sony and unsurprisingly they wouldn't free the name up. So, need a new name or maybe I can put - in front of it and behind or maybe _. Really don't want to add more letters or numbers.

Did you try "carm" or "CARM". Maybe changing capital letters will trick the system.
Using the ID trophy look up, both variations pop up the same ID on public trophies. I'll probably have to end up with something like -Carm- that wasn't showing as taken. I just hate to have to use hyphens or anything extra. I have a couple underscore ideas but that's 15 spaces long heh.

How long do these deals... usually last? I want this but I have to pay off, like, a $900 ticket. However I'm getting two jobs over the summer and will be able to afford it. Is there a possibility of this deal lasting that long? I want those 2 games more than anything on the system.

There was so false advertisement on Amazon's behalf, because they were not giving a $20 GC, but $20 promotional credit that has an expiration date. Besides that, there is a big distinction between what can be bought with a GC (everything) and credit (ship/sold by Amazon).
All that said, this was one hell of a bundle. I already sold off my second BB copy.

Tempted by this but I don't think I'd like Bloodborne. I didn't enjoy Dark Souls or Demons Souls.

Trust me Bloodborne is way different from those two. I find Bloodborne pretty easy compared to Demon Souls and I find the fighting mechanic better and faster than Dark Souls. (You will still die a lot, so if dying isn't your thing. You probably won't like it then)

I had prime, so I got Bloodborne delivered Sunday, somehow. But the Playstation came three days later.. I spent a lot of time just setting up the system and wondering how you even turn it on.. haha. You touch the slit.. There's not even a button.. you just touch the slit...
So, if anyone else jumped on the Playstation + Bloodborne bundle during that short period where the Gift Card wasn't apparently part of the bundle (either page was being updated, or it quickly sold out and they had to piece the bundle back together or something... no clue) you WILL need to contact amazon about not receiving your $20 promo credit.
I had to walk the amazon rep through the whole thing as he kept insisting there was no ps4 + bloodborne + $20 promo bundle.. At some point, he said there wasn't even such a bundle, and the 20 dollar promo wasn't in the item description, but apparently he wasn't clicking on the various editions available, the one including all those promos. Before that, he confused my Last of Us promo code email for the 20 dollar promo..
Anyway, in the end I did get credited the $20 promo credit, but I had to be rather persistent to get them to understand the promo they were offering.
I wasn't sure about bloodborne after playing last night, but now I'm starting to get hooked... It's really solid, but a lot different than you might think, from Dark Souls.
