Julien Risse, who works at Ubisoft's Paris studio, lists the unannounced sequel on his LinkedIn profile alongside earlier titles Watch Dogs and its DLC Bad Blood, but doesn't offer any hints as to when we may see it.

I actually really enjoyed the gameplay in WD, and the world itself was very well-made. I just hope the next game has a protag that has more personality than a wet cloth, and they hire some decent writers for the story.

Watch_Dogs is good, I love the cutscene and characters such as BadBoy_17 and Jordy Chin. I don't particularly like the hacking puzzle and did not care much about Aiden. Hope we don't play him again in the sequel.

Playing Watch Dogs felt kinda good when it came out but going back after playing gta 5 for next-gen... Holy shit Chicago is a boring town. Both when it comes to the looks and level design.

the game was never referenced by name.. and it was a "maybe a sequel is coming" kind of news back then. This confirms it without Ubisoft willingly allowing the reveal.

WatchDogs 2 may actually be a great game. I can still remember how glitchy and repetitive the 1st Assassin's Creed was, but then they released the best game of the series with Assassin's Creed II.

Bad Blood is the major story based DLC they released for the game. T-Bone is the playable character in it.

DLC for WatchDogs starring T-Bone as main character. It's actually pretty good.


As for a Watchdogs sequel - this game has a lot of potential, most of which wasn't fully realised in the first game. I hope Watchdogs 2 can make the same jump in quality that Assassin's Creed II did.
