For me, as an audio guy, I am noticing a lot of sampling errors in replays and 1-2 during actual races where the game really does seem to dislike lined up audio sources and startd to mix them at really low update speeds. This results in a audio chudder where 1 car's engine is heard for 1/30th of a second, then the next, then the next then the next, and it starts to almost sound like echo but its just all over the place.

In races it happens far less but has now happened a couple time and it really is just discordant and absolutely painful to hear.

Also ya getting the same odd achievement issues as the other player with some achievements popping where it assuredly should not have.

Yeah, I'm hearing the audio issues too. This sounds dumb, but the only thing I can compare it to is Fatboy Slim's "Rockafeller Skank" when the "funk soooouuulll brooooothhhhheeeeeeeeeer" bit slows down to a crawl. It reminds me of it for some reason. :)

Sounds like a one second sample has been stretched to three seconds. Only happened a handful of times so far, but it's totally noticeable.

If you were in from the beginning, you may or may not recall it was originally a F2P game. There was no "full game" until later. When it switched, your tier went to "25€ off" instead of "25€ worth of F2P content". You were never going to get a full priced game for half price.

Did not like Assetto Corsa with controller.

They said on the wmd forums today that they wouldn't expire. Should probably ask on the forums what's going on.

They usually only update their store on Tuesday with new content and new preorder listings.

Albeit, they seem to have made a couple of updates today so maybe things will change.

The game will probably be added to the store on the 12th, the North American release.

Any impressions on how it plays with a controller? I'm not really interested in buying a new racing wheel at the moment, but I'd like to play the game on the PS4.

Yeah, I bought it on day one. So it basically changed to "no incentives for helping funding the game"?

I mean, most developers are at least thanking their backers for helping them. In this case, you get a limited "discount" to buy the game for full price. It's just embarrassing.

Yes same question here. I dont own a racing wheel and I dont intend on buying one. But would like to get the game for the PS4, either way my driving skills will suck no matter what I get but I Think with the ps4 controller it might be a little easier to control

It takes some getting used to, for sure.

If you're used to other racing games, then prepare yourself to feel like you're the most useless player in the world.

You'll pick it up, but it is VERY frustrating to start with.

I played one online race and man was that a turn off. I qualified 3rd and then as the race starts I immediately make it to first with a good start. Then first corner and I get t-boned, race was over for me then...

You might want to read the terms of service first...there are plenty of incentives.

This is why I have only ever enjoyed online racing in games that are ok with a little impact. Trying to play a sim online is painful.
