Edit: Ok I see people saying you don't get charged right away? I swear a friend of mine mentioned that he paid for the Batman console bundle in full when he made a pre-order online.

Gonna catch flack for this, but I don't like what I'm seeing here.

It plays the Fallout buzzwords too straight (1960s/retro, nukes, pre-war and post-war). I'm not interested in the cheery "period piece" pre-war days. The trailer plays up the fact that nukes hit and nobody expected them, but this is the 4th game in the series, we should already be way past this by now.

Bethesda can't make interesting games anymore. I couldn't care less about the events of Fallout 3, with that nebulous and uninteresting water purification system.

Playing it safe in both content and tech. Meh. I wish Obsidian was making this.

I see colors, and that was my single biggest concern. Graphics are okay-ish. At least it looked like a world I want to explore, Fallout 3 (haven't gotten very far in NV) was just depressing. I love color, and beautiful landscapes. I also like swords/medieval weapons better than guns.

Considering how Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim were breaking records in sales, with all the money bethesda have, they could easily just get a new engine built.

Instead it's gamebyro for 5 more years.

At least it's more Fallout, I love fallout.

Gamebryo isn't a issue because of the visuals. You don't play Fallout because of the visuals. It's an issue because of the bugs.

Please let this be the first moderns FO title that's been put through at least an competent QA team.

I will be extremely happy if this is a 2015 game, but even so that 11/30 date is doubtful because a) it's a Monday and b) that's the Monday after the largest shopping day in the U.S., Black Friday. If you want to move a lot of copies during the holidays, and in November in particular, you typically release prior to that.

Might be the European release date, with the US version releasing the previous week.

People are disappointed with the visuals? Just what the hell were you expecting? It's an open world game from Bethesda. It looks dramatically more detailed than Fallout 3 and seems to feature much more ambitious world design. It looks very good for a game from these guys.

Yes, The VATS system lets you pinpoint targets (limbs, heads, torsos, etc) and shoot them right off. It might not always happen. The gore is actually less than everywhere else you look. Skyrim didn't have a lot of gore to be honest. Fallout only gets its gore from VATS IMO.

In so many ways. Gonna be hard to go back to Bethesda's non existent writing after witcher's incredible side quests but still the world of fallout is interesting for sure so I'm still hyped

No doubt, I still had a ton of fun with Fallout 3 despite its flaws. Adding color to the damn game will make things much easier to run through again and again too.
