Ahhh, so that's what those were for. I remember seeing them in a screenshot. The not being able to see your opponent's thing is weird; not sure how I feel about it yet. Remember Seth saying in a interview they have a character who launches missiles at the opponent and you can decide their trajectory with lines on the screen, but your opponent can't see those lines either.
Starting to feel like this game isn't ever going to have local multi you can play side-by-side with friends.
And I imagine it'll be a pain for TOs needing to have dedicated head-to-head setups for it (assuming this game eventually has a offline versus).

What makes you say that? It seems to be quite the opposite to me, actually. Idk, I read people charitably, I guess, and it seems to like FGW is tight community.
edit: also jokes are not vitriol, and Karsticles is (one of my) favorite people in here
I hope the service was really bad, because other than that reason, that was a pretty assholish thing to do

Just ordered the FC pad and the FPS plus pad.
Is the FC pad you mentioned the Fighting Commander 4?
I'm curious to know others thoughts on it, if anyone else has one. I just got it and it's so damn close to being very good, but left on the dpad is kinda fucked up. I don't know if it's a bad controller I got or if they've poorly built it and it's a common problem with most.

I got one recently for fighters and retro games on PC. Was annoyed to find out that it was only recognized in about half the games I tried, whereas my 360 and xb1 pads work automatically with everything.

Played 16 matchs online on Rising Thunder and this GGPO3 is really good. Some matches were bad but viewing the ping that was not a surprise.
The only thing I don't like is the cooldown on moves. Not because it's a too bad idea but when it's used in combos, the cooldown is the same as when used in neutral and sometimes you hit a big combo with all your special moves and wish to use one of them on your opponent wakeup and you can't, that's frustrating.

ken, ryu, and eagle are from the cvs series, the gen sprite is from alpha. the adon sprite looks a little weird, but he has an alpha sprite in this style too.
cvs had some really rad spritework.
Sounds like a good Fighting Game scene
