Destiny |OT27| Nerf Herders

I am maxing out a handful of some of my lesser used exotic weapons (Invective, Pocket Infinity, Universal Remote, etc) and for someone who is mainly a PvE player is there much reason to continue upgrading Universal Remote? So far I can only think of "collection" purposes as a reason as I cannot fathom ever really using it as my primary and as the equipped exotic in really any PvE mode.

As far as collections go I basically have everything I want and/or find useful sans for the PS exclusives and would probably find the extra weapon space more useful moving forward into TTK.

Any praise for the Remote?

Exactly what i was thinking. And Rarbusto for his job.

We need to determine whether we'll wait for each other (set a date) or what's going to happen. Idk if we'll be able to find 3 other people to do the raid with blind or not.

Or if the raid will be available the very first week or
dread
not.

IIRC, you'll be available first @ 18th, me on 22nd, and Rarbusto on 25th? Something like that.

I've gotten really bored of my same old setup lately. Fateringer, black hammer, gjall... er, hunger of Crota.

Weapons like the remote are a good change of pace when running the daily, bounties, or the weekly heroic. Even the normal raids are more fun with weapons like that. Oh, you can get across the abyss with a fatebringer? Cool story.

Point being, game has more staying power/fun factor if you use all the weapons just for the hell of it.

I normally don't like to post personal stuff, but I'm at the nursing home with my gf and her family. Her grandpa is on his final hours most likely and it's just so sad. I left the room and now in the waiting room by myself for her family to be there watching what most likely is his last day. Life is way too short.

Sorry to hear that bud. Might not be much but DestinyGAF is here for you. My thoughts are with you, your, your girl, and the rest of her family as well.

Something I hope they add are armor pieces that have very powerful attributes, with some negative effects to balance them. I want something that will let me truly feel like a tank class or a glass cannon, healer, etc.

Am I the only one that didn't buy the dat horn? Everyone owns one now so Bungie needs to make up for this injustice to the rest of us that didn't buy all the DLC and casually play the game.

I seriously don't understand this argument. Its not even worth having one if your never going to play the new content anyways. How much fun can you have shooting ghorn at stuff you have already killed hundreds of times. Plus you would easily have the coins ready if you actually played a bunch even without the dlc.

Well, more than that, he expects to have the same rewards/gear as someone who spent more real dollars and more hours playing the game?

I wasn't aware destiny was a socialist venue.

Yeah, it's a drag but I think it may pay off. I hadn't done any in months till a couple days ago. I'm hoping that I can fill my Postmaster with packages and use them to boost my level once the cap is increased with Taken King.

Remote is fun and packs quite a punch in PvE.

I like to use it in PvP as well, uses primary ammo. Fun to scope others down.
