I always kinda felt like Professor Layton had a large female following.
My girlfriend loves the Layton games. She's also way into Animal Crossing and Pokemon. Not surprisingly, she's stoked for Yokai Watch, too.

Just from my experience, the Final Fantasy series and games like Virtue's Last Reward and the Danganronpa games seem to have larger female audiences.
I know a loooot of girls who are into Bethesda RPGs. Like, really into them.
Might be cliche, but Animal Crossing?

Every woman I've ever dated has loved Mario games (even though none of them have cared for gaming in general), and that's more than a few
If British chicks play console games, then Resident Evil is always among them.
Those Nancy Drew games. They made tons of them and fanbase is huge.
Women I know play everything
Anecdotally, the women I've talked to lately on OKC all seem to dig Beth RPGs if they are into gaming. Lots of Fallout 4 excitement. Seriously
I got a date once that I think might have mostly been about my NCR shirt
