NFL 2015 Week 5 |OT| - A Fraud’s Hankering for Some Bites

FMT, I've layed off Kaeperpick this season because both our teams are going through trials and tribulations this season. However I would say, and I think most NFL fans/analysts would agree the 49ers are in far worse shape than the Lions going forward into the next few seasons.

With that said the Detroit Lions will do our job in helping the 49ers by beating the Cardinals this Sunday in Detroit. We have bigger fights to pick than fighting amongst ourselves until we face each other later this season.

Jnc, we both know you're losing this game. Just like the last six times we've played. The question is how many scores we'll beat you by.

Remember when Mech tried to jinx us last year and we won the super bowl? That was funny. I hope he does that again!

It's too late. Already sent your last check and took your nameplate off the door.

Hmm... I wonder if this original recipe of Shiba Inu with grilled cabbages would win the next cooking tournament...

Friends, should I go to the Lions/Cardinals game on Sunday?

Depends on if you'll enjoy watching the Lions get crushed. Seriously though, I think watching an NFL game in person is worth it in most cases. Although I've never been to a live game where my team wasn't playing but even without screaming my head off on D, there's always FF to give me extra invested interest ;)

Almost every team I've rooted for in the Super Bowl the past decade has lost. The only one that hasn't was Eli during the first Super Bowl against the Pats. :/

Most of those games, IIRC, have been in Arizona where it's tougher for an east coast team to travel. We've had bad luck in Arizona but I think we'll bounce back this week.

You've beaten three 1-3 teams and lost to the Rams. Granted I still think you have a solid team, I think we'll pull out a W at home.

DeAndre Levy, our defensive leader, is also playing his first game of the season and we've sorely missed him. Can't wait to see what blitz packages Teryl Austin sends towards statue Carson Palmer.

The Rams exposed the frauds that are the Cardinals. Lions>Rams therefore the restoration of the roar begins this weekend.

why would you lay off kap? he's fucking raw garbage.

as for the niners being in worse shape than the lions, how? we both have no QB, we both have crappy owners, we both have a shitty coaching staff, we both have basically nothing. the difference is we can get rid of kap and start anew next year with a ton of cap space. what can the lions do with stafford/johnson eating up like half the cap next year for minimal production? but i agree neither of our teams is doing shit anytime in the near future. however, at least the niners have a past that i can always live in if i want!

i wouldn't doubt that you beat the cards. they are a fraud team that was exposed on sunday and will be exposed time and again this season

Anyone in the NFC West getting beat by the Rams isn't really a sign of weakness to me. The only games the Rams seem to show up for divisional games, it's the non-divisional games where they wet the bed. If the Rams could channel that desire to win to all of their other games maybe they'd be going places.

"I don't know how they don't win the Super Bowl every year."

It's true that we're especially tough to beat at home but we're just flat out a much better team this season. The competition we've played against isn't a great argument when we've blown them out the way we have. Bad or even mediocre teams aren't capable of putting up 48 and 47 points points in back to back weeks. We're familiar with your team from playing them consecutive years and we always come out on top, we know how to beat you. Factor in both your DTs being out and the Lions just flat out playing poorly this year and there's really no reason for you to have much hope. You've got home and Any Given Sunday affect but our team is mad and hungry after a loss that shouldn't' have happened so I think we show up to play.

Levy back is nice for you though we'll see how he does his first game back, probably rusty. If you think Palmer is a statue you haven't seen a recent Cards game.

Rams have an incredible power to make the prime Seahawks/49ers/Cardinals of the last few years look like jokes at least once a season.

So you wanted the Pats to win in 2011? And the Steelers in 2010?

Disgusting. Especially the Pats part

In that case the Cards scored 47 on the Niners but the Packers only managed 17. Guess we're the best team in the NFC by a wide margin with that logic!

JNC! Right, exposed us. I'm sure teams will be able to incorporate forcing a fumble on the opening kick off into a well executed strategy. Or make David Johnson drop a wide open pass in the end zone each week or force a fumble on Larry each game. There were a lot of flukes in that game but the Cards being a good team sure as hell isn't one of them. Since you're so sure we're going to be exposed time and time again this season, care to make a wager on that? How many wins are you betting? 7 again?

Ignore lists are lame, you'll probably see them quoted anyways plus BamBam is cool people. Wrong on some sports topics but a good poster.

If you use one of the Chrome extensions you don't see any posts that quote posters you've ignored either. It's pretty decent.

Edit: Thanks Floyd!
