Have no idea what to make of this. Although I do so hope we trust in Miracles! I like that line.
But only one person died last night. If there are more than one killer, whether it's 2 Scums, 2 Neutrals, 1-1 Scum and Neutral, wouldn't that mean someone else should have also died last night, instead of just one person?
Honestly, that's another thing that bothers me
This is a 28 player game. 1 kill a night and 1 lynch a day will make for a veeerryy long game. There was rats, but even then, that's only in a situation where he gets RB'ed.
Total guess based on the idea of balance then: we have 1-2 non-scum killing roles. 1 would likely be a vig of some sort, who if we vote wrong today should probably night kill the other person that's voted on
I already adressed the possibility of a serial killer aligned against both scum and town- not possible, based on our role pms.
But it seems to me that the mods would have had something to make this game go quicker, and my only guess for now is that a doctor or roleblocker got in the way of that.

I'm inclined to believe the poisoner is scum, seeing as it doesn;t make sense for a town poisoner (which itself doesn't make snese) to act on Sawneeks of all people, and because a neutral poisoner wouldn't be town or death eater aligned (most likely) and our win condition doesn't align with the idea
Another reason why a Neutral Poisoner probably doesn't make much sense is the fact that what is the end goal for such a role? Is he or she like a Lyncher only instead of looking for a target to get lynched, it looks to poison a target and wait for that target to get killed in two days and win?
I agree I find that unlikely. If there is a Poisoner around, it has to be a Death Eator.

It could be there, or the poisoner might have a goal of sucessfully poisoning x number of players
But its our win condition that rules the possibility out. Town wins when all death eaters die. A theoretical situation where a poisoner hasn't used his ability once till the end of the game but town wins when there is a malevolent killing neutral still alive makes 0 sense
Wiki says the Daily Prophet belongs to the Ministry of Magic. Its purpose is to influence the minds of british wizards. The newspaper is known for its inaccuracy. What's it called? Yellow press? Similarly to the likes of The sun, die Bild, etc? If that is true, it's probably there to create confusion, maybe some neutral action?
There could also be a combination role. A lot of neutrals in the past had things like "you win if you kill 3 persons with your arrows since you are a stupid fox archer and I hate you, but you also win if you just make it to the end of the game".
I also like the idea that Salva and Nin are just commenting on the daily procedures and are laughing their asses off in the Spec thread

There is ONE person, that I know for a fact, that is 100%, innocent Towns person. anyone else? I have no idea.

If I had to guess, I would think that is a PM that someone can send to a mod and that will summon the paper. Now, the more interesting question is: are there any hints in the paper? Or is it something that person himself must write? I doubt it is just there so someone can be goofy.

I read it over again and it seems to suggest 3 or 4 things.
1. Something is wrong with Harry Potter as he isn't following his path of the Chosen One and would rather goof around.
2. Something might be wrong with Dumbledore. It seems whatever is effecting Harry might also be on him. Also suggests it might be Dumbledore who did something to Harry.
3. 'We might have to consider the possibility of completely losing him to this devilish potion. ' Hint at someone using Potions as a weapon?
4. ' I guess we could always trust in miracles and hope that everything '. Either a poor use of words or this person who made the spell trusts Miracle.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Harry/Dumbledore references refer to the Roles so maybe Blarg/King?
It might be the reporter saying that they aren't sure on either of them but leans towards Harry because of the potion stuff? Who knows. The miracle line is odder now that we have the context of it being a player report.

I was curious so I translated the first large portion of Blarg's earlier post since Gorlak did the smaller second part. Some parts of it are worded weirdly because some of the words are difficult to guess, even in context. The recruiter idea is interesting though we likely have a mafia killer, poisoner and spell person already at the very least.
Town Leaning:
Flame_AC: I think he's totally trust worthy given how he's posted so far.
Blargonaut: I buy his claim, but I don't want him to be considered a guaranteed townie just because KingKitty turns out to be a Death Eater. It's likely they will kill him, and the longer he survives the more suspicious of him I will become.
Gorlak: He's very much on a quest for information, a town player can do no better than to produce information and Gorlak is doing a good job at it right now.

KingKitty: No explanation needed I suppose, but his claim isn't that strong in the face of Blarg's posts.
Miracle: My vote is still on him, though I'll switch to KK when the time comes. Miracle seems like he is not so subtly trying to garner some information. I'm not convinced yet that he is a Death Eater as I imagine his team would be telling him to be much more careful now that he's drawn a little bit of the spotlight. Miracle's 100% statement is also worrying for a variety of reasons, but you all can probably figure out why.
Enker: I didn't notice what Blarg had about how Enker mentioned the horcruxes and then downplayed their significance, however it is interesting that someone would go out of their way to do that for seemingly no reason. It also seems like Enker isn't really taking any positions and is just kind of dropping in to say something somewhat relevant before fading away again.

Miraculous phising: ...Yeah what Miracle did earlier looks role fishing at least to me, but it could also be just really badly worded comment. Im inclined to lean on the former, and Miracles pretty cocky attitude on later posts is not really helping with my impressions on him. There is also the fact that zipper was my top blender, but it would be unfair to hold against Miracle, I guess.
LoC tried some phising too, I think Sawneeks post left absolutely no room for interpretation, so this Fisher was weird.
Horcruxes: I see no problem to them existing, why would Blarg lie about them (assuming he is Dumbledore, obviously). But even then, their actual purpose is a bit shady at the moment, so for now Im going to think about them with a bit skepticism until we know more.
Kittyclaim: I noted on this before, but it claiming semi-roleblocker, when there could very well be scum-rb is a quite bold thing to do. In general kitty seems quite desperate in his posts, is it because a scum is trying his damnest to get free at no costs, or a panicked town? Most likely former.

FYI because you werent in the Archer game: I am one of those cant post at work people. So, you can expect to see me between 7pm-10pm EST on workdays. That said, its a weekend and I have next week off, so youll see me more.
And as Hyper keeps alluding, Im one of those people whos throwing out speculation based on the fact that I have read every single Harry Potter thing and just witnessing three games with a Magic Book, a School Map, and Missions. So, what is a person like myself to do but speculate about what the twist in this game will be? The Horcrux thing was simply that, before the game speculation to post something potentially useful on D1 when most people are trying not to be the first boot.
I am obviously wrong about my other guess that everyone in the game has a role now that Swamped is dead and we have proof to the contrary.

The implications of this? Further proof that everyone here is a named character. Another is that Blarg and KK aren't lying about their roles, and that something seriously weird is going on. This was touched upon in Sawkeeks's analysis post, but that post seemed to take for granted that Dumbledore and Harry are blatantly identified, which is a big deal.

The paper also missed a perfect opportunity to claim that Harry Potter was recently seen riding the Hogwarts Express instead of attending classes.
I am inclined to think that Rita Skeeter is a secondary Jester role. I dont recall her being a wizard so that would imply that she couldnt cast stupefy, thus two separate roles.
Also - the paper is somewhat misspelled and weirdly worded in sections. Could give away the writer eventually?

No I didn't. No matter when she dies the intention of my post was obvious, role claim before death of you think it will help town. Unless you think I was trying to wizard mind trick Sawneeks into revealing.

I have a few questions for Blarg if it is okay that he can answer them:
1.) I find the idea of horcruxes as a secondary win condition very interesting, HOWEVER, where can they be found? Will it be like Archer Mafia's mission system? What are the conditions for them to be destroyed? Are there items like the basilisk's fang or the Sword of Godric Gryffindor?
2.) How do you know what exact spells were cast at you? When spells are cast against you, are you given a message indicating what happened?

1. Someone else already mentioned that if they do exist in this game, then likely they are ground on the person that dies/gets lynched. As for the other items, we have no idea yet.
2. According to Blarg, that is what happened to him. Although in the case of Sawneaks, she was not told how she got poisoned or who did it, just her getting messenged that she was poisoned.

1.) Thanks. A bit vague, but oh well.
2.) See, I'm more inclined to believe Sawneeks. She's been super pro-Town all game, and being poisoned is real hard to claim as a ploy. I guess the poison she got was from a potion/vial, while the vowels being removed from Blarg's posts are from specific curses. Does this mean that spells have different rules from potions?
Or Blarg could be just playing us like damn fiddles. That's always a possibility.
