But TLOU is another thing to factor in. TLOU remastered was the big bundle last year so that likely gained a lot of new ND fans. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Uncharted 4 TV spots plastered with "from the creators of TLOU" as crazy as that sounds.

Uncharted 3 is a great fucking game. If any game sours them, it's Uncharted 1. That game has aged horribly and shouldn't be played for most people getting into the franchise other than the story.

I totally disagree with this. I played through all three games years ago and haven't touched them since I got the collection a few weeks ago. I have to say that while the first game was touched up the most, it is has been come to sit with me as a very, very good game. I don't understand the hate for it.

That's not really crazy at all. You capitalize on the creator's most popular work. That draws in the audience. If they're smart, they'll do something to make the Uncharted 4 beta available to a wider audience in the last few days.
I wouldn't be shocked if the last few days of the beta is available to all

If it is playing UC series for the first time, you'll think its good. Then you play 2 and fuck man, what a giant leap. Then you go back to 1 and think its dogshit.
UC1 is ok, but I don't plan on ever playing it again after getting the platinum.
With a large enough sample size it's a decent data point.
Similar to exit polls. Not perfectly accurate but it can give you some insight into the behind the scenes data.

No. It's the Gears of War Xbox One bundle. That's just the back of the box.
1 million feels optimistic to me. It'll do well, but not that well for its opening. 800-850k seems the most likely, imo.
idk. TLOU did 900k in the summer. I feel UC4 launching in March with no real big releases gives it an advantage. No doubt Sony amps up the marketing around that time.
But mind you I do feel 1 million is the absolute best it can do. Realistically I'm thinking 900k.

TLOU was the next big thing from ND & had tons of hype for a new IP. Uncharted is pretty established. If the bundle was sold to people who never owned a PS3 and like UC Collection, then maybe it hits 1 million in launch month for US. Right now I think 800-850k is more likely.
A lot will depend on what they show at PSX, how the beta is received, and the marketing campaign behind it.

Do these stores usually get about 60 consoles? Looks about that for each in the first pic, and rules out restocking if so.
It's like everything they did was to ensure it sold the least amount of copies possible.
They'll have some in the overhead stock along the walls also.
Well we know we will be getting a story trailer of some sorts and I wouldn't be surprised if we get another demo (Bruce needs at least one where things don't fuck up). I am predicting about 800k-1.2 million NPD dependent on reviews. If they end up disappointing with an 8.5 meta (disappointing for ND's standards) then at the low end 600k.
Now watch the game go on to sell over 1.5 million or less than 200k at NPD and people to dig up this post.

I suspect Crystal Dynamics had nothing to do with that decision.
peeps doubting UC4 will top 1m @ launch will be in for a surprise... one of Playstation's biggest series on the 'it' console... smells like a recipe for disaster indeed.
