Reserve your copy or regret it for the rest of yourrrr lifeeee!

The battle against the demonic Nightlord ended with a victory for humanity. In his defeat, the Nightlord spilled his foul essence, which took root to form an evil that lingers to this day—Blue Blood. Those who bathed in the Blue Blood were transformed body and soul into fiends, and became a blight upon humanity. Thereafter, they would appear at night to take people. In doing so, they robbed the human race of nighttime itself. Beset by sleepless nights caused by these wicked fiends, the city became known as "The Land Without Night," a place that does not exist on any map. A young woman who was doused with the Blue Blood became cursed with blood-drinking abilities. She lived for those who dwelled in The Land Without Night, and fought for a woman that was destined to be sacrificed to the Night.

This is a love story of two star-crossed women who lived, fought, and were ultimately lost to the annals of history.

Double dipped on this with the JP version. The limited edition is almost exactly the same, which is cool. Glad this got released pretty quickly outside of Japan.

Kinda surprised it's almost sold out so quick. Must've been a smaller print than normal. Glad it's doing well, though.

I have to stop buying LEs of games, just too much for me. Ill pick up the regular one later tho since this seems interesting.

The JP version also I believe was around the same price or higher!

Possibly! It's been restocked twice because it nearly sold out! I also believe its sold out right now :V. I think that GUST/Koei Tecmo was wise to tap into the limited edition collector's market. They know we passionate collectors gobble this up!

Is it actually good? It looks kinda cool, but if its another RPG with a bunch of crafting, I am out.

no bby -pulls back- This is one of Gust's first attempt at an action jrpg. NO crafting like Atelier or time management lol. Completely different and new game ;). More story and combat focused.

Buying regular, $100 when the usual NISA LE is 50-65, too rich for my blood

The usual Nisa release is also a Vita game ($40) or a really niche console release ($40-50) that they aren't charging full price for. The starting price on the game is $60 in this case and the LE stuff would bring it to a minimum of 75-80 ($15-20 increase for LE) if you compare it to their other LEs. That poster really seems to be driving this one up though, because everything else is normal LE faire.

I hope VGP is getting the LE as well or else we Europeans will be missiong out again...

I think NISA Europe will have something to announce soon, they've said as much but they also recently sent out an e-mail with "Nights of Azure LE" in the title but had no content related to it which makes me think it was a slip.

Wow this sold fast, didn't it just go up last week?

I was initially interested, then I read that the game was not that great story wise and the combat was a little lackluster. So I thought I'd sit on it for a few days before pre-ordering it.

Then Nintendo goes breaking my wallet by announcing the FE Fates n3DS XL. So as of now February is: Street Fighter V CE, FE Fates SE, and FE Fates XL.

NISA Euope have said to keep an eye out, so it should be announced soon. Will cost a lot no doubt.

Nice to know, thanks for the info!
Was a bit surprised about not hearing anything, since the game is releasing in April there, and they usually put up PS LEs on their store earlier than that.

I used to be able to keep up with all the RPGs being released, but now it's like another world to me. Who finds the time to follow all these, let alone play them?

So is this one supposedly one of the better ones?

The combat I hear is actually really good with some complaints being the difficulty of it. (Being too easy at some parts) but can be remedied if you change the difficulty.

As for the story I've been trying to avoid dem spoilers

Bought when it originally went up for pre-order but damn that's fast.

Sold out in 12 days, would've have probably sold out in less time than that but then they restocked ;o

I guess Vita really isn't going to happen. ;(

I wouldn't give up on a Vita version, it'll probably come later. They probably want to optimize it more since it runs like sht on vita. (graphically at least, FPS looks good)

Buying the game but 100$ for a new series and no impressions is too much.
Also too many games in feb/mar.
Standard it is.

For some impressions here ya go http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1118856&page=3

It seems to be rock solid from reviewers and people hoping that the sequel really just expands on the combat sequences.

I can't wait to try this game out and see gust's action jrpg game. They should really make more games like this considering their art style and amazing music.

This thread is like the worst peer pressure ever for my impulsive "gotta buy it before it's gone even though you definitely don't have the money for it at all" side.

Fuck.

I almost bit late last week but it looks like a game that would be perma-backlog and I really have to stop getting LE stuff that piles up.

I clicked today and it said sold out.
