Please explain to me any scenario where it makes logical sense they did this intentionally.
My issue is how willing people are to dump on ubi and give ND a pass. Its a gross double standard. I've had my ND avatar for almost 10 years, I'm a huge fan. This is not about console wars or favoritism. Its upsetting seeing so many people brush off plagerism like its nothing. Its not confirmed to be stolen and it could just be a mixup, but if it wasn't? You'd still have people saying meh no biggie.
Neil probably took a selfie with the concept art that they ended up using.
What's strange though is that they'd bother to Photoshop the person out of the placeholder. On the other hand, I can't imagine they'd be so dumb and believe they could get away with it.

People are really quick to say they stole the artwork and think they are trying to get away with it. It's more likely a mistake and a placeholder. Why would ND need to steal anything with the resources and talent they have? Regardless of whether you have faith in that, why not wait for ND's response before wasting your time and energy getting worked up over something so silly?

It was probably placeholder and then they forgot to add their own art.
LOL, the game looks outstanding and will likely be one of my games of the year. But they stole that artwork straight up. I love ND, but it is what it is.

Yeah. My friend is predicting that his brother will die which will cause him to realize he doesnt want to do this anymore. I could also see something like that, but i do expect there will be some kind of sad moment in Uncharted 4 whether Drake, Sully, or his brother dies.

Well, shit, Naughty Dogs didn't even make Uncharted, they straight up put Indiana Jones in a Tomb Raider game.

I'm fine with that logic, but it's not something you then use as an end game in-art asset. Best bet is a place holder and the actual art created by ND staff wasn't included on accident. Worst case is that an artist passed it off as his/her own. At this point I will assume it's a placeholder until we hear otherwise from ND themselves.
Either way, guaranteed that will not be the image in the final game.

Anyone considered the possibility of a crossover between both games and sth that happened in that same area within the same timeline? Anything is possible and if this is true this would the biggest secret the game has.
