thanks for the Media Markt idea.

Just ordered it with in-store pick-up.

So between it and my Thalia order I now feel safe(r).

Though amazon would have still been my preferred method.

Same here. I trust Media Markt, especially since it took so long before you could order there.
I think I'm safe now.

I start a new job tomorrow, so this is the last day I can spend constantly refreshing these sites, so I really hope the UK preorders go up today!

The SE is available at mediamarkt.de for 79,99€ with free shipping. I don't think they ship outside Germany since they are established in a lot of countries and have seperate websites for those. You can also choose in-store pick-up with in-store payment, if you want to take no risks.

So I just put my french address and the system didn't blink, I reached the payment page but I don't think I will go further.
I'd like to check if they really don't ship outside of Deutschland but my german isn't good enough for that (damn it's been almost 10 years since my last lesson lol)

I tried earlier and they don't seem to have a Country option when filling the registration form. That should be enough clue that they don't ship internationally.

But if they do, someone let me know. Being in a tiny country in the EU periphery, ordering from a bigger country's retailer is likely the only way to buy it aside scalpers on ebay.

I just checked their FAQs. Unfortunately, they clearly state that they only ship "deutschlandweit" - which means no international shipping.

Amazon UK now have it listed, but out of stock so you can't order it yet. Seems like other retailers where it's a placeholder until they have an idea of pricing/ stock.

Yeah, I've had the page up since it appeared. If it's not available to day, the odds of me securing a preorder drop to near zero.

I just wish Nintendo weren't making an absolute balls up of this, given how well it sold in Asia and NA, and how much demand there is for the LE, this is just going to leave so many people disappointed, and only benefit scalpers.

I refuse to give money to a scalper on principle, if I miss this then I'll just get the digital. Wish the 3ds could hold more than about 3 games though...

I ordered it at Media Markt here in Germany. I don't feel really confident about it though. You really think they are checking their actual stock?
Anybody has experience with limited editions in the past?

And is 80€ a reasonable price?

80 is a good price, sincer the normal game is 40 plus 20 for one DLC and 20 for the other. Plus, you get yourself an artbook and steelcase.

80€ looks to be the RRP, seems fair to me.

I feel pretty good about the MM order, probably the one I'd trust most after amazon

Thanks for the heads up. I got my copy of Fire Emblem as a store pick up. Now I got delivery from Saturn.de and the pick up at MM. Maybe I can sleep a little better now. Wish Amazon.de would finally be up to settle the deal.

Decided to go for store pickup at Media Markt. When I preordered the Disco Fever Edition of Persona 4: DAN at Amazon they cancelled it on launch day.

Edit.: Should add that they said they didn't get any.

UK Gaffers, Nintendo have a sign up page to be notified when it's available for purchase.

https://m.store.nintendo.co.uk/ninint/competition.account?comp=RYIFEF

Includes a competition to win a standard copy of the game too.
Nintendo UK only ship within the UK to my knowledge.

That page has already been live for a few weeks, presumably it's just getting a boost on social networks. They've done this for previous releases, can't say I've ever received a single mail telling me that something is 'now available', but that's just my experience.

Yep, same thing.
That said, they usually have a bit more stock than elsewhere in the UK, or at least, don't go through it as quickly.

Ah, didn't realise this one had been up a while.
To be fair I've had email notifications for all of the sign-ups I've done on the Nintendo UK store, timely ones too unlike my experience with Amazon's notifications.

THat's anothe reason why I want amazon to finally put it up. :(

It will be up in an hour when everyone is distracted with preordering Playstation VR. probably not.

I know it will be up when I am either showering, getting something to eat or have something else to do so I can't stalk the page. And when I am back it will be gone. :(

It's still up on mediamarkt.de
I'm starting to have a bad feeling about that one. Not even tahlia was up that long

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot people preordered at Thalia and are now confident that they will actually receive their Limited Edition for just 65 Euro. That deal was all over every noteworthy german deal site last week.
So those people won't bother with the Media Markt offering.

Maybe they're right, but I wouldn't be so confident. If it's true that France only gets 7.000 LEs, the german run for the LE will be in the same ballpark. I just don't see it happen at Thalia.

Media Markt on the other hand...they will definitely get a very sizable chunk of LEs. Just like Saturn and Amazon. And in contrast to Thalia, those three aren't known for cancelling limited preorders all the time.

I'm still very confident with my preorders at Media Markt and Saturn. If I can place an order at Amazon as well, I will probably cancel at least my Saturn order.

Aren't Media Markt and Saturn the same company though (Metro)?
Why would they offer the SE only at one outlet if they could easily assign more stock to Saturn where it sold out?
Is their stock not shared that way?

I don't think any pre-order is safe at this point, there must be a reason that amazon hasn't opened orders yet.
If it's not just in-house employees snatching all allocated stock (as fucking Saturn and Media Markt tend to), then I'll go with the theory that allocation of stock hasn't happened yet at all, and all these listings that popped up so far are just based on retailer expectations.

It's like how people still have pre-orders for FFXV from 5 years ago - I am sure there hasn't been stock allocation for that game yet, but retailers list it anyway.
