Kickstarted games you've been looking forward to play

The only game-based Kickstarter that I've backed is Frog Fractions 2. I'd like to play that.

Is this thread Frog Fractions 2?
I'm also interested in Pillars of Eternity, but I didn't back it.

Yooka-Laylee, A Hat in Time, Tides of Numenera, Strafe, and Original Sin 2 (which I backed). I'm sure there are others but I can't think of any at the moment.

Bloodstained. Indivisible, Divinity: Original Sin 2, and River City Ransom Underground.

There are other crowd funded projects I'm interested in but those three projects in regards to crowd funded campaigns are ones I'm anticipating and want to play the most.

Right now it's Dragon of Legends, little indie adventure game I backed. That's mostly because I love the style and it should be out sooner than Shenmue 3, which I dropped like $60 on.

After Amplitude I'm getting more excited to see these games I backed in action:

Yooka-Laylee
Bloodstained
Shenmue III
Indivisble (Indiegogo)

Friday the 13th... It's the first game I've ever pledged to on Kickstarter and it's something I've been dreaming of for years.

I've done Yooka-Laylee, Consortium 2 and The Wild Eight.
Hopefully they are all making it to the consoles.

Sadly it's Tex Murphy: Tesla Effect. It released two years ago and I still haven't got around to playing it yet. Very soon though.

Upcoming games I backed I'm looking forward to are:
Dreamfall Chapters (Final Book, should be soon)
Starr Mazer
Thimbleweed Park
The Journey Down: Chapter 3
Muv-Luv Trilogy
Gibbous: A Cthulhu Adventure (Campaign still in progress, but will hopefully make it.)

Really looking forward to Witchmarsh. Action-RPG + Lovecraft, although I guess that it starting to describe a lot of games these days!

They have a combat alpha out to higher-tier backers (I'm not) and are hopefully launching this fall.

The following games are unreleased and I have backed up:

Drift Stage
Shenmue 3

The following games I backed, was looking forward but haven't played yet:
Project Scissors

Not really "looking forward" for the first two, because I have no idea when they are out, I guess "eventually".

Bloodstained, Half-Genie Hero, and Octopus City Blues were the ones that came to mind. I did back Mighty Number 9 too, but it barely floats around in my head, and that saddens me a bit. If I'm being completely honest, the Shovel Knight DLC packs are the Kickstarted projects I want to play the most.

Of the ones I didn't back, but still want to play are Project Scissors and Ghost Song.

Torment is the one I have backed but I also look forward to Bloodstained. (Also the last Dreamfall Chapter if that counts)

People should stop referencing data that makes me feel uncomfortable because games get ported to platforms I don't like
Divinity Original Sin 2 (PC)
Torment: Tides of Numenera (PC)
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (PS Vita)
Cosmic Star Heroine (PS Vita)
Yooka-Laylee (PS4)
Shenmue 3 (PS4)
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (PS Vita)
Timespinner (PS Vita)
Muv-Luv (PS Vita)
Moon Hunters (PS Vita)
The Grisaia Trilogy (PS Vita)
Strength Of The SWORD ULTIMATE (PS Vita)
Children of Morta (PS Vita)
Regalia - Of Men And Monarchs (PS Vita)

That's alot of games coming my way from Kickstarter and the whole Kickstarter program has been very generous to my beloved PS Vita.

Cosmic star heroine
Yooka-Laylee
Bloodstained
Shenmue 3
Souls Saga
Indivisible
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Battle Chasers
Edge of Eternity
Regalia
Shantae half genie hero

I'm forgetting some games i'm sure.

This is one of my most anticipated games. Basically the closest we've come yet to a Redwall game and it's looking absolutely amazing. It was backed on Indiegogo but I would recommend checking out the actual website for updates as it has been vastly improved compared to what was shown during the campaign.

The leads of the original Descent games just kickstarted a spiritual sequel, which has a playable teaser available now both on Steam and directly from their website.

Aquanox Deep Descent

I played a bit of one of the older Aquanox games which I remember liking, and this one sounds pretty cool. Not a lot of progress shown yet so we'll have to see how it comes together.

Everyone already knows what this one is :)

This sounds pretty interesting, and I like the unique art style.

Battletech

A friend of mine is a big Battletech junkie, and hearing him talk about this universe made it sound pretty interesting.

Anyone who participated in the Shenmue III Kickstarter threads knows how eagerly I'm anticipating that long overdue experience.

Also very much looking to getting my hands (quite soon) on the new game from the creators of Myst, OBDUCTION. Looks like a worthy rebirth for that genre, from the people who did it better than anyone.

A Hat in Time, should be released aaanytime soon guys, anytime! So much HYPE.

Also Yooka-Laylee of course, but I'm pretty sure this one is going to be delayed for at least 1 year.

Yooka-Laylee and Bloodstained. Can't wait.

Don't care about Shenmue 3, as I haven't played the first two games. It's a shame they still haven't announced remasters. I would have backed Shenmue 3 back then if they had.

Divinity Original Sin 2, Star Citizen and Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

DOS2 would be the most fitting, as the 2 others are currently playable in an early state.

At the moment I'm looking forward to these games, hopefully they will turn out to be way better than the last Kickstarter game I got excited about (Project Scissors: NIghtCry) playing.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night & Bloodstained Prequel game (Wii U, Xbox One, 3DS)
Perception (PC)
Friday the 13th: The Game (Xbox One)
Shenmue 3 (PC)

Right now I'm a backer on a few projects that I'm really looking to playing:

Soul Saga
Children of Zodiarcs
Bard's Tale IV
Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Basically, I'm using Kickstarter to help fill out my RPG library! I love what I've seen of all the above so far (though Bard's Tale has shown very little thus far).

council of the crows/ithaka of the clouds by jonas kyratzes. especially excited for this one since it's been 3 years (maybe longer?) since it was funded. jonas is an incredible writer and did fantastic work on his lands of dream games and the talos principle.

torment: tides of numenera because of planescape being one of my favorite games

knights and bikes as something for me and my girlfriend to look forward to playing together

thimbleweed park since I'm a huge ron gilbert/point & click adventure fan

omori since it's a very psychadelic/trippy anime version earthbound-like rpg for 3DS... I funded it before I even owned a 3DS.

all backed. already played broken age, armikrog, and wasteland 2.
