I really hope they polished/cleaned up the rest of the game because that backer demo they sent out wasn't terrible but definitely did not feel like a finished product

I could not care less about the online multiplayer

It's here guys. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Wonder what will perform better that week; Mighty No. 9 or Tokyo Mirage Sessions.

No Man's Sky will obviously outdo both.

So wait.....the Vita version is not coming at the same time.....but they've been promoting this as cross buy digital AND retail: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015...ails-cross-buy-pre-order-for-retro-hero-mode/

How the heck can they give a code with the retail PS4 version for a vita copy with no release date? Sounds like they're revoking that perk!

Doesn't sound like a problem... cross buy can apply post release. Edit: I see you mean ps4 retail, could give out preorder codes maybe

NMS is really the only one of those games with hype behind it and it's not like there's a huge overlap between Space Exploration game and 2D Platformer

Well, it'll be a nice treat if it winds up being a PS+ game, but at this point, I don't think I'm gonna pick it up. What a fucking messy three years it's been.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
The handheld versions have always been slated for a later release, so I don't get the reaction here about them.

Portable versions for PlayStation® Vita and Nintendo 3DS ™ will follow at a later point.
Even after these delays these versions are still delayed? Man that is disappointing.

Even worse it is coming out on a packed day for me gamewise.

What are Vita people going to do are our versions cross play? Probably not but srsly the least they could be after all this shit.

Ha. Believe it when I see it.

Also, same day as this little game called No Man's Sky.

Mark my words, this game is going to flop completely. Sad but true.

Yeah, I edited my post, because apparently they're saying the retail version comes with a PS3 code, which owning the digital PS3 version then gives you crossbuy with the vita version when it releases.

I'm guessing at least the 3DS version will be cancelled, and backers owed a 3DS copy of the game won't get a refund.

Remember when this guy left Capcom and everyone on gaf was like

"gasp... how dare they treat him this way, Capcom has no idea what they are doing."

I guess they're harder to make, but it still feels weird to delay the current gen portables rather than the totally dead last gen consoles. I guess maybe the PS3 is still relevant in Japan...if it's sales will even matter in Japan.

If 3DS gets cancled Vita likely will too. They're both being outsourced to the same dev and neither will use UE3.

I mean, they still don't but you'd have to be a fool to believe Megaman Legends 3 wasn't going to be a development hell story if Inafune were to stick around

The handheld versions are developed by a separate team, no media have been released, and one of the platforms doesn't even support UE3 at all. No idea why anyone expected them to ship simultaneously with the console versions.

Part of this reminds me of when Watch Dogs was delayed. At the time, I didn't have a PS4 or Xbone, so I would've gotten it on Wii U.

I really wanted to play this on vita. Guess not anymore. The Vita version (and possibly 3DS version) is gonna bomb.
