Splatoon is now on Xbox One?
Couldn't Help myself
I put 20+ hours into the game on PC. 4 on the campaign (which is more of a fun extended tutorial wih a narratice), 16 on the various modes and arenas. That's where the meat of the game is
The campaign is short. I took longer than most, mainly cause there were some scenarios that I repeated a few times to finish them in cooler ways. But the main game is its plethora of modified modes and arenas. They tweak the main game in different ways (katana only, speedrunning, etc.), while the arenas challenge you to use all your honed skills to rack up a high kill count. This is promising because I thought it was meant to just be 2 hours long? Which I didn't think was worth the steep asking price.

Searched for super hot on smart glass, got DoA5 DLC as results >_>
ReferenceIt says a lot about the genre if this is considered to be the most innovate shooter in years.

No, I've seen half-assed before...You've never seen a minimalist, abstract, or low-poly art style before?
Ha, okay. I see where there is going. There's a big difference between unfinished and stylized. You might not like the aesthetic, but it's a cohesive art direction designed as an upgrade to the original game jam look and that coalesces with the gameplay so enemy, bullets, and interactive items are instantly contrasted and recognized. If you're familiar with Mirror's Edge use of red and blue against its stark white environments, you can understand the white-black-red palette and style hereNo, I've seen half-assed before...
Did that gif show you throwing a sword for a kill, an enemy trying to get it, and you (the player) killing the enemy while retrieving the sword...???
Interest rising.
What kind of crazy low price can I get this on PC for?

I remember seeing this a while back when it was being made and it seemed kind of more like a tech demo than a game. It looks fun to mess around with, but that's a steep asking price for what's there. Guess I'll wait on a sale.
