Ask me about the GAF Notebook
Hey GAF I just got done eating a Publix Cubano for lunch, and it got me thinking about this topic.

What is everyone's favorite Sandwich? Do you prefer a certain type of bread? Do you like soft or hard/crunchy bread?

Do you prefer hot or cold sandwiches?

What's your go to kind of meats? Do you prefer a certain cheese? Are you big on loading your sandwich up with toppings? What about condiments?

Motherfucker now I miss Publix sandwiches. You suck. They were basically my favorite thing growing up. The whole-grain bread with some turkey and a million other toppings? Goddamn.

Waiting for the cheese and butter picture.

For me, generally just a good turkey or ham with mayo, veggies, and mustard. I love all types of sandwiches though.

anything from Publix honestly, you just can't beat the publix sub + iced tea combo

sorry if that is too much meat for you Europeans, just close your eyes and think of a sandwich with no toppings.

Never been to a Publix, but that sandwich in the OP ain't impressing me much.

Just don't give them to homeless people, or you'll be royally pissed.

Seems like nobody likes making a good sandwich at home. The right bread is crucial, though. Soft bread sucks. You need something with a little resistance to it. I like Portuguese rolls, personally. Toss some turkey, ham, salami, maybe even some pepperoni and provolone on there and bam. Instant great sammich.

Growing up in philly, I get down with almost any hoagie. You gotta slice the meats as you make it and you've gotta use amoroso rolls.

Down south, I like a nice sandwich with Naval pastrami and most breads. Problem is naval pastrami is a bitch to get down here, I gotta buy the whole damn cut or my butcher won't order it. Ran me $70 last time.

Rueben's are amazing, but my favorite sandwiches are the ones made with Thanksgiving leftovers.

Sourdough bread, carved turkey, mounds of Mayo, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and got gravy poured on top. Gat dam..

I love a nice cheesesteak on crispy bread

Ok, what is this, besides the obvious? It seems to be getting a reaction. lol

It's the Strugglewich from the original sandwich thread.

In actuality this sandwich type is common in Europe.
