Watch Dogs 2 box art and details

Around 5 minutes in 2 black guys start fighting and another black guy gets arrested

Whew! Nice to see they learned from Watch Dogs' issues with race.
:/

At least the protag seems to be a PoC which is commendable.

I'm bummed that I know exactly what this game will be.

It will release and people will be having a lot of fun.
-Huge map
-tons of stuff to do
-'the hacking is pretty cool'
-great graphics!
-So many weapons and upgrades, such a big game
-The map is so full of stuff, you'll never get bored.

I might even buy into the hype (although, I think I've finally learned my lesson)
And then after a week or so you realize that the map is packed full of boring and repetitive shit to do. The upgrade system is super bare bones and just a means to add a bullet point on the 'features' list. The actual story is totally lame. And you finally realize that the entire game is totally uninspired and you put it down forever.

Assassins Creed 2 is one of my favorite games ever. But I am utterly sick of the Ubisoft formula.

3. Every activity counts toward your progression

We wanted every interaction or event in the game to feel meaningful, and everything you do in Watch Dogs 2 will help you reach your final goal. Speaking of which, there are no more towers to unlock. The entire San Francisco Bay Area will be open from the start for you to explore and discover the stories and secrets that lie within. From the lush lawns of Silicon Valley, to the cultured streets of San Francisco and the gorgeous views of Marin County, each neighborhood has its own vibe and feel. We’ve packed the game with a lot of content and there will always be something for you to do or see in this massive world.

4. Hacking is expanded, opening up many new possibilities

Every character, vehicle, electronics and other objects you’ll come across can be hacked. Everything is a target that can be hacked in multiple ways. Hacking traffic signals not enough? Take control of a vehicle’s steering wheel or overload the engine. We want to empower you with even greater control and possibilities with hacking, and we’re really excited to see how players creatively use these tools. You’ll even have an RC car and drone at your disposal to open up the world and create new hacking opportunities.

I dont like the main character design, but that can be fixed by various skins and outfits, the gameplay animations and combat animations look lovely though.

I mean, that's probably the one thing they get right about the bay ;)
It's only the black drug offenders that get arrested. Just like everywhere else, I suppose.

Just catching up on the stream now there's a lot I like about it but then they seem to go and mess it up by trying too hard. The "luls" Internet meme culture they try to recreate, the character etc.

But then the city looks much better, the hacking stuff looks like a lot of fun too.

Semi? The original game handles race very poorly. Like I said, good about the protag but the original game had issues with it and already in the trailer you've got the "ghetto" black people again.
There was people in the other trailer thread moaning about it looking too "urban".

The cover is actually nice.

My gag reflex sets in when I see the worlds of stuff like The Division and that new Ubi-drugs game - the urban wastelands - so a colorful approach instantly makes this game less repellant.

the game could be good, hacking bits look fun in the video but damn the character designs are the most off putting and horrendous in some time that I've seen. I don't know, maybe teenagers that they are targeting with the game love these stuff, it's definitely not for me.

Both the original Watch Dogs and The Division have serious issues with it so idk why I expected much else. I remain cautiously optimistic because I did enjoy the first in spite of itself, and I like Ubi's games in general.

Oh god it looks like such a fucking douchebag game
At least the DedSec characters look like douchebags, even the protagonist.

The world itself looks actually quite lively and nice.

But yeah, no chance that I'll play this. I don't want to be some dumb character.

Remove the weapons entirely from this game and then I'll be interested. It killed me in that first amazing trailer for WD1 when he pulled out a handgun at the end.

Do something different!!

I will wait the impressions after the game come out, but it looks promising.

And since I played Infamous SS, I`m used to this edgier thing.

My god does it look rough. Kudos to Ubisoft for not over-hyping its graphics I guess. Game seems to be pulling an Assassin's Creed: Syndicate over an Assassin's Creed 2.

Best wishes.
