Guys, guys we are in ctrl!
That's amazing I wish we would be able to ctrl more games. Just imagine how good witcher 3 would be if you could ctrl geralt and make decisions for him. Maybe different stories could even have different outcomes based on your actions and decisions. Holy shit the possibilities.
Jokes aside, so far the game doesn't click for me. I was very hyped for Watch Dogs and it had some nice ideas, a cool setting and good side activities, but story and game design was rather boring. The ubisoft formula is getting old and dry. On the plus side I really enjoyed Watch Dogs hide&seek multiplayer, something clicked there for me.
I see zero issue with the clothing, seems very normal.
I don't dress like that because my dressing style is more smart casual to formal, but you have to be terribly out of touch with modern fashion to find Marcus' style odd or "hipsterish" or "douchy".
The irony here is that his coat was hilariously bad in terms of fashion and abnormal looking. Like it had one single cheststrap and no zipper/button, belt that is hanging around and more curiously is below his waist.....coupled up with the ridiculously huge zip up turtle neck shirt and baseball cap.
By comparison nothing about Marcus' clothes look abnormal.
My mind is blown. Didn't even notice since I didn't get a chance to watch the videos until now. Given his style and the fact he's black I gotta give Ubisoft for changing it up a bit and not falling into the stereotype. Glad he isn't dressing like this.

So how would you gauge someone's fashion sense, or the weight and worth of their opinion when discussing clothing and style, besides by asking them what they consider stylish? I mean, that's not always something you can encapsulate with just a couple of photos pulled off the internet but at the very least you'd think people could articulate why they dislike the design of this character beyond shit labels like hipster douchebag edgelord
I really enjoyed the first game and hope they fix two things.
First: the story sucked. That's never stopped me from playing a game before, though.
Second (and more importantly): they need to work on balancing a bit. Losing your wanted status was nearly impossible in certain situations. When your minimap is literally full of CTS circles and you have no where to hide it is quite frustrating.
Otherwise the first game was superb and I'm relieved Ubi didn't fall for the internet outrage and are continuing this franchise.
With how judgmental some gaffers are about how others dress they come across pretty dickish. I overheard a dudebro comment directed at me when I was at PAX prime when I was wearing a tank top. It was hot out so I dressed accordingly. Oh shit, watch out, he dresses differently lets name call.

Losing your wanted level was ridiculously easy. Sounds like you're taking the wrong approach. Instead of trying to hide, just use your hacks to take out the cop cars. Very easy. Plus an easy go to escape is to escape on the train.
That's not to say the wanted system doesn't need improving. Just pointing out that escaping a wanted level in Watch Dogs really wasn't difficult.
That'd be rad. Reminds me of an idea Chip Cheezum had in his LP where hacking memes on LED signs is WD's equivalent to MG's porno mags, where the goons would be distracted by texting their kids to ask them what the meme means.
Lol what an embarrassing oversight that was. Maybe it was intentional but that wouldn't change how dumb it is. "We lost him! Where'd he go?!" *Aiden buzzes right by in a speedboat*
I just curious, what do you mean by fooling you? Yeah the graphics were downgraded quite a bit from the initial reveal and Aiden isn't the best protag, but I had a lot of fun with the first game.
I was pretty impressed with it, being the first game in a new franchise. I ended up completing the story mode and had a ton of fun with some of the multiplayer stuff. The hacking hide and seek mode was probably my favorite multiplayer mode. I regret being LTTP with it though as by time I played it the community had shrunk quite a bit.
They definitely need to add more variety to side missions, make more interesting side missions but I'm pretty sure they will refine a lot of the stuff people didn't like in one. I also really liked how the game ended, closing up the story but creating threads for a sequel. I didn't enjoy how they handled the one characters arc,
seemed like Clara's death was shoe horned in for "dramatic effect."
Maybe you played a ton of it WD 1 and hated it, but for me the positives far outweighed the negatives. I haven't watched the trailers yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to WD2.
Edit: Hopefully we see a few of the WD 1 characters return, I wouldn't even mind if it was
Aiden, although I would prefer Jordi or even T-Bone, haha
