Watch Dogs 2 box art and details

I dont even think its a racial thing, a large portion of GAF just doesn't keep up with fashion apparently

Half of the complaints about the style of dress on display by the main character can just be summed up with this:

Whenever I read about people judging fashion on the internet I just groan, especially on a VIDEO GAME

It's exactly like how people argue about music, its pointless

The funny thing about the fashion debate is that Watch Dogs takes place in the future.

Yeah, you expect things to look different in the future. In the end though, people just need something to discuss, as there's not much out, though the videos, and such had a lot of different things in them. The wait for launch is going to be long.

I get that maybe young adults dress like this in Cali.

Except these hack0rs are packing major heat.

Is this what gangbangers dress like in california?

Watch_Dogs was one of my favorite games in 2014. This one looks like everything I loved about the first game and so much more. Bring it on! :)

Good lord this looks shit.

Even by Ubisoft's standards.

Let go of the annual model, guys. It's doing you no favours.

lol it's been two and a half years since the first WD came out, and it will have been almost three years by the time this one arrives. This is not on an annual model by any stretch of the imagination.

These hackers are not gangbangers. They build their own weapons with machining tools and 3D printers. Yes, many hip people in California dress like that, and many hip people are quite techno-savvy.

I'd play a game as that guy. It'd be better if he lost the undershirt, wore a gold chain and unbuttoned a bit more tho.

I'm thinking something more along the lines of a wrinkly Hanes t-shirt, unintentionally large Walmart jeans, and some dirty white Newbalance kicks.

If you want, swap out the shirt for a poorly contrived pop culture graphic tee.

Man some serious hate for the way this dude is dressed. Please post your clothing style fellow gaffers I'm intrigued at what y'all think style is.

This exact question has occurred several times. For some reason, a vocal minority of GAF is actively against putting any thought into what they wear. I've never been super clear on why, but it seems to be a source of pride (or perhaps a misplaced sense of frugality).

I'm glad they didn't show the game super early and that they didn't activate their E3 graphics.

Maybe they are starting to learn.

This actually looks pretty entertaining... more personality than the original. I'm only skeptical because of downgrade with the first and my aversion to the sister city Assassin's Creed games, but if it reviews well, I'll have to try it.

I really like the look of the game and think the protagonist fits perfectly.
Still not sure if I will get this, though because I lost interest in WD1 very early in the game.

anyone have any links to a good programmable LED array to make something like that guys emote mask?

Im not too DIY tech savy... but SDCC is coming up and this would be a super easy (other than the mask) to cosplay since i have all the other punk stuff already XD (go ahead and shame me... whatever!) :p

Is it only me that feels Infamous: Secon Son vibe when it comes to design of the characters and game colour palette?

I enjoyed Watchdogs despite its boring protagonist and plot. Will probably get this day 1. This could be the Assassin's Creed II of the Watchdogs IP (or not, but I'll probably get it anyway)

They share a lot in common. Trendy twenty-somethings in a trendy western-pacific city with a diverse cultural palette and tall downtown cityscape.

The only Over the top design is the guy on the left and I guess it took in some way inspirations from the punk scene and crossed it with a cybertheme. Since Dedsec is described as rebellious group he is supposed to look provocative

the main character looks like a tech worker who decided his first foray in fashion with his new money would consist entirely of shopping at mr porter.

oh...wait, ubisoft hit the nail on the head

What's more punk than that?

Gah! Only if you keep reminding me! I'm pretty psyched; I gotta reign in my patience (or lack thereof). :p

1) why does the ma-1 only have diamond quilting on the back, and even then only on the top half?
2) why is the sleeve pocket on the wrong arm? generally it's on the left sleeve of the jacket.
3) where is the collar for his button down shirt?
4) did they at least partner with vans for their iconic sk8 his?

Exactly. All the hip techno people dress like this in Cali. Love this game because it's like a mirror to techno hip Cali-culture. Very future forward.
