Sometimes I go back to the original W_D reveal when I thought it was gonna be cool
why did I ever think this shit was real. Even the way the music lines up with some of the dramatic beats should've told me this was all a lie. That and Aiden having a varied voice, and visibly more than one emotion than "Grumpy"

It's absurd, targeting a teen demo, and a follow up to a much maligned game.
Not that I think the maligning of WD1 was deserved, mind. The OG watchdogs was a giant smorgasbord of incongruous minigames, experimental multiplayer, and huge AAA open world activities. For a person who buys ome or two big games per year and doesn't mind playing the same thing for two or three months, it was a fine game. It was a victim of the binary hive mind, where something is either GOAT or dogshit.

This was the perfect choice to ditch the fucking butt ugly baseball cap combo, and make him wear a hoodie.

I think GAF's clothing style is somewhere in the "yeah I did the homework but I ain't gonna let you copy" kid's ballpark.
I disagree with you about the maligning of Watch Dogs - being undeserved. The core stealth/hacking gameplay was middling fun, but as a game it just kept lowering the bar.
At the start Aiden is a douchebag theif, by the end you have tenuous links to the Assasins creed games like its a shared universe, you have been forced to infiltrate a sex slavery auction which never really makes sense and Aiden just keeps becoming a worse human being.
Watch Dogs 2 seems to have addressed most of those issues. While keeping the things that worked in the first game.
I won't be buying it until it gets asignificant price drop. But assuming it comes out in 2016 it's on my GOTY shortlist (FFXV, No Man's Sky and Titanfall 2 look like the best candidates right now)

Nothing lol, I just don't like that style in general, I think it's funny looking.
Edit: In my head, what this makes me think of is something like Sunset Overdrive, but without the Cartoonish style, and instead realistic graphics. It's sorta too much, I kinda prefer a bit more subtlety. And I go to a uni, and for the most part people don't dress like that lol.

Have they talked about clothing options? Aiden only ever got a trenchcoat in different styles, but I assume this would have more variety.

If there's one game I don't trust its this one, wont believing anything as fact until the game is out and its proven.
If I were to decide it I'd make him look like James Bond and have the whole thing be a spy thriller.

Yeah i can see the attraction in that. High tech hacking and sylishness. But think we have a lot of game with high level Operatives already.
Something fun about playing something a bit more down to earth (while still being wild tech fantasy). Young people fighting back against the rich corporate elites.
Seems a more fitting power fantasy take on our current culture, over James Bond power fantasy take on the cold war era world.
Maybe the hoodie is reserved for Assassin's Creed
I really hope they would have just made the series modern Assassin's Creed. And give a continuous story with an end point.

If you look closely you can actually see some empty monster cans near the bottom. Radical.

Well, people bitched non stop about the first game being boring, having no identity etc...now they look to have made drastic changes and we still get complaining. I guess this team can't win. I just want to see more gameplay. Bring on next week!
