I'm sure I'm not the first to see this, but there are some add-ons visible on the Xbox app. This one is intriguing..

I guess white people and black people do dress differently, otherwise why does it matter, to play some one who dresses and has a different skin tone. Embrace change and broaden your horizons a bit people sheesh. cuz I bet most people on here complaint how the main guy looks love their final fantasy characters

Well, people bitched non stop about the first game being boring, having no identity etc...now they look to have made drastic changes and we still get complaining. I guess this team can't win. I just want to see more gameplay. Bring on next week!

fair enough, maybe this drastic change works out for them.

I dont even think its a racial thing, a large portion of GAF just doesn't keep up with fashion apparently

Ok, as an honest to god answer, do young, uni age students in San Fran actually dress like this? This colorful with this much branding/logos and like extra stuff? In the end, this is a non-issue for me, I just think it's funny and will judge the game on it's merit, but now I'm wondering lol. The only examples I have of good ole San Fran fashions is from :

This is one game I want to see do very well, just to generate more salt from GAF.

Game looks good. Yes, a bit corny, but I've yet to see anything worth the acidic snark it's getting.

ITT people from the Midwest and South learn about West coast fashion.

ITT I've seen multiple people from the West Coast, including myself who grew up in Oakland and am now a 26 year old living in the Inner Sunset saying yes, people don't dress like that around here. Especially the tech kids.

Good lord this looks shit.

Even by Ubisoft's standards.

Let go of the annual model, guys. It's doing you no favours.

Far more accurate than the game. Especially with the tech kids in their young 20's.

I can't speak for San Fran but come to philly you'll see all of that. Like I said early I can walk in to a bunch of stores and walk out with those exact outfits.(masks not included for obvious reasons)

Yeah not getting the hate for the clothing style. They just look like students to me.

Hate to think these characters would be dressed if it were decided by neogaf poll...

This is a forum where people say they'd regularly wear clothes that come with collector's editions of games and see nothing wrong with that, so...

Looks a lot colourful? I like it. Not really a fan of the first game, never finished it. This kinda looks like something I can dig.

I'm in Melbourne, where street style tends to skew arty / hipster. Without the bandanas / scarves, none of these looks would be particularly noteworthy in anyway in the city.

Besides the graffiti style branding which looks dated to me (maybe mid 2000's ish?). Although being in Australia we are probably pretty far behind whatever is happening in San Francisco, so maybe that's back?

Considering how blah the first one was, this will probably just drive up sales of GTA5 even higher if that's possible.

I mean I'm in New Orleans currently but spend most of my time In Baton Rouge for school, and yeah you do get some trendier looking people, but I don't know, I guess it's too hot for all that extra shit. Most people are in T-shirts and jeans.

I dunno, I can't speak absolutely for high-schoolers.
I do social work for SE San Fran middle schools, and it just seems all off to me.

Yea all the extra stuff he has on you can chalk it up to being a video game but those outfits are legit and pretty current. But if u watch the gameplay trailer they have customization with tank tops and shorts and stuff

I'm legitimately having trouble with figuring out what the exact problem is with their dress. MC is wearing a cap, jacket over a shirt, jeans, and sneakers. Absolutely nothing about that screams edge, hipster, or cringe. It's pretty damn standard. Same goes for the other two. They're central characters so there's something to make them stand out but I could see people dressing like that minus maybe the skulls and studded jacket.

Live in the Midwest and the outfits look fine. I don't see the issues with layers, I wear layered shirts, brighter jackets, sling bags etc. The only thing I wouldn't wear on that MC are the floppy high tops, but I work with a few developers that would wear those.

The over reaction to the attire is lame at best, and just reeks of the usual Ubisoft hate that frequents this forum.

Hey hey! Don't knock the high tops. I have some red vans that look exactly like those.

Yea fashion is very fluid and ever changing. While that's not my particular style. I see many people dress like the MC.

To my uncultured eyes this looks exactly like the main characters style and in fact I bet this will be an option in game.

Personally I think the main character looks alright compared to the others, definitely nothing unusual, although I'm not really a fan of the mask + baseball cap + sunglasses but I guess it's simply the "iconic" Watch Dogs look.

Not excited for this in the slightest. Trailer did nothing to sell me on the game after how mediocre the original was.

That being said, the OT title better be Hack the Planet.

I liked how they weren't afraid to change the tone of the game (even if it seems they're trying too hard). Also, black protagonist is legit.

Other than that... Eh, the game is not for me.
