One of the things I liked about watchdogs was in the original trailer it had kind of a deus ex vibe with futuristic feel. Watchdogs came out and it was way more gta then deus ex. This looks again to be heading that way again so I am a little disappointed. I enjoyed the first one but I think a deus ex syndicate type world would open up a lot of possibilities and create a real differentiator from gta.

Let's be real here, it might have been downgraded from the initial reveal, but it's still arguably the best looking game on PC.
Ubi games on the other hand...just saying I don't trust the initial shots of the game is all.

I consider myself fairly well versed in fashion and I hate it cause of the rolled up bomber sleeves (seriously what the fuck), decals on the jeans (is it 1995?), cringey messenger bag with pins and orange sneakers. The companions are even worse.
Then again Delsin looked bad too and he ended up being great.

I'm all in, it looks great, I also get to be a black guy from the town? Fuck yeah. I hope they have some bay area music to accompany the game, if not I'm going to be spotifying some Jacka,Mac Dre & Zion I while I play. Playing in SF is going to make me nostalgic as fuck though lol.

I dare you to find someone that doesn't look like a tool with rolled up jacket sleeves, they're either meant to be on or off, not rolled up. Orange sneakers I guess are alright, just not my personal thing though.

I'm just mad because they got so close to the classic "dressed by the internet" style and messed it up with the sleeves, sneaker color and tacky jeans.

agreed. Everything about WD2 is just extremely stylized. I don't think the developers think that hacker culture is 100% like this. It's just their creativity and the way they want to design the world.
Everything about the picture screams "Going to be way less serious, much more goofy and fun" to me.

Great to see they added a lot of colour to the graphics and that they chose SF as a setting. Parkour animations also look really neat!
But that's where my enthusiasm ends unfortunately. Main character and periphery characters still look like Ubi is trying way too hard to make them edgy and cool. Exactly like in the first game. Gameplay wise I don't see anything that makes me excited, even though I'm wondering how the parkour will feel.
These are of course, first impressions based on 7 minutes of video. Hope the Ubisoft presser reveals more.

This is way brighter than the first game. Like Watch Dogs Tropical Splash edition. Or Watch Dogs California Vacation

Considering all of those images are retouched to hell, I wouldn't be shocked by downgrade claims at this point.
