Danny Phantom Mafia |OT| Your lynch doesn't stand a ghost of a chance!

64tIAU0.gif

So that's the strategy, huh?

Take out everyone around me, and leave me 'til last?

How vindictive

DAY 3

  • A Danny Phantom claim brushed away as an accident (TheWorthyEdge)
  • A typo #scumtell brushed away as inconsequential (Royal_Flush)
  • A somewhat late Miller claim (Xamtheking kingkitty)
  • 4 dead Ordinary Townsfolk
  • 1 dead Town-aligned Enabler
  • Inactives
In the jargon of actionable intel and intel-gathering, this is what professionals colloquially like to refer to as "pocket lint"

probably

btw Flame, sorry about the hammer trap, setting someone random up as vote bait can be fickle like that

At least we can see now who pursued you on Day 2, knowing you weren't Mafia like them

We should probably take another look at the Day 2 voting patterns, IMO

I don't read Triggers town either but I feel the same about Xam. What did Xam do for the game? Nothing besides be a Blarg Jr. Speaking of Blarg. Usually at this point in the game he has something "valuable"to say. I feel Blarg is being much more reserves this game, so I feel like his behavior is a bit weird. Saying this, he'll read it like an invitation to get crazy again.

scummy DP fakeclaiming TWE coming out to bus Xam in favor of protecting Trigger? this is such a null post when you boil it down to the essence. "trigger.. i have no opinions of. but what about xam! how is he still going around?". you must be pretty confident about everyone's real identities to go around defending someone you feel is null in favor of a popular, easy lynch target

oh, and no second kill last Night, too

That means the second kill that occurred on Night 1 was probably a 1-shot, probably the doing of a 1-shot Vigilante

Or, the perpetrator was successfully Roleblocked

good to know

this defense of Trigger by TWE and Corn is surreal in the grand picture of this game. when you look into how far and few between his posts are, and the substance behind them, and the general lack of will anyone around here has had to attempt to defend null posters.

It's hardly a defense. More like a call to at least try other leads.

Do you actually think I'm defending him? That's interesting to me because I was trying to get a better grip on why everyone was voting for him.

oh wait, Sophia's dead, uggghhhhh

This has to be the scummiest scum team that's ever scum'd, depriving me of my ghostwriter like that

*sigh*

Here's a series of posts just from the end of yesterday.

You're not alone in that thought. Darryl doesn't seem as aggressive as I associate with him as a town player. Blarg is pushing this typo as a scumtell narrative despite there not being much traction for it. I think Flush has spent more time defending himself than anything else.

None of this is really solid enough for me to place a vote on them though.

Oh, I'm curious to see evidence for that one.

Yeah, me too
Reading over Royal's posts, the only thing that really seems like defending himself right off the bat is the whole thing with Blarg pushing the "slipup."

I'll look over and see if I can find any other post that supports Trigger's POV, but I'm not seeing it yet.

That... is an awesome term o_o;

Trigger spreading misinformation.

Trigger spreading misinformation.

Probably should've been here more yesterday. Damn E3. I think that's good enough motive for people to vote him. Is that enough for me to vote for him? Not yet. I wanna let this day develop more to see if anything else comes of it.

Also, you completely skimmed over my read on Blarg currently.

After I "called him out" (though I really didn't) he appeared instantaneously.

xam isn't even in the game anymore. why the fuck is anyone deflecting onto him? he's a god damn ghost, and kingkitty has so far posted actual opinions. why do you defend this?

Because the reasons people town read him (read: literally none) are still relevant.

if you want to argue for a kingkitty/xam lynch, go for it. this is completely different than "why do people want to lynch trigger instead of xam", which reads to me as attempting to procrastinate or deflect a lynch off of trigger.

not to mention the two people doing it have had basically no remarkable opinions all game. it really stands out

No? I was wondering why they were voting Trigger, not why they were voting for Trigger over Xam. I simply compared Trigger to Xam, who I voted for last time based off of bandwagonning.

You compared Trigger to Xam? Why? What were your motivations behind this?

What did Xam do for the game?

Explain this line and the motives behind it. Then loop back around, and explain how you aren't trying to draw attention to Xam with this line. This is blatant deflecting.

Hey Trigger, you finally want to deliver on the "Flush is just defending himself" front? I'm eagerly waiting. On case you can't: Why did you say it?

Who are those people who specifically town-read Xam? I can't recall lots of people who said he was probably Town but a lot of null-reads.

Hm...I don't understand why everyones going for Trigger. Because he hasn't contributed enough?
This post rubs me in a very very wrong way.

Yea, your utterly unremarkable Starsketch votes. You're a broken record player. It just comes across as scum distancing to me, as there really isn't any foundation to it. Probably setting a nice foundation for when one of the two of you get caught. You don't personify a paranoid individual, as a paranoid person would probably be acting similar to me and they'd have called out a dozen people by now. The fact that you pulled away from me being scum when I agreed with StarSketch (LOL?) just draws my attention to this even more. Like, what the fuck?

Ok lets change gears:

Trigger and TheWorthyEdge as scum buddies? Yeah I can see that. Yes, I'm willing to go for it.

I still want an explanation for why so many people seemed to strongly town read Xam, before his replacement.

My motivations were to see why I should vote for someone other than who I was already voting for before. Extra information that may take me off of my mindset of getting rid of Xam.

I'm in no way trying to bring attention to Xam because as you said he's not in the game anymore, just want to know why Trigger would be better of a vote.

Say you wanted to get this super good looking car, but there's another car that people say you should buy instead. You would want to know why you should buy that car instead of buying the car you so desired.

Who says it's not Trigger, You, and I in a team? I mean, we did have the same opinion on the Trigger thing, and I did respond to Trigger in one post that was him talking to you. So, what says I'm not trying to defend you because you're the Mafia Leader?

Also Darryl, if you notice and you look more closely I wasn't even the first to bring up Xam.

Haha this is an excellent post. So you are 100% mafia. Fuck Starsketch, she's probably town.

You literally gave yourself away 100% here.

Personally I never read Xam as leaning town due to several factors

a) lack of activity
b) bandwagoning using other people's reasoning

since kingkitty replaced Xam now, and he did post his reads, its getting a little bit better but still on that borderline scumminess.

I do want to hear more from kingkitty later in the day however.

As for Trigger...

this is annoying every time I read it because...Flush didn't defend ANYTHING...the slipup, that blarg pointed out, was basically ignored from the majority of his posts...

So unless your trying to breadcrumb us that you have some "special ability" that your able to do to other players in this game which also corresponds to what you said on that quote...this feels very scummy...

I would definitely like more post opinions from the following people on the situation:
melonrabbit - few posts from last day
Giant Panda - few posts from last day
StanleyPalmtree
Rats Off to Ya
KingKitty
StarSketch - got pretty quiet near the end of day 2
Matt Attack - few posts from last day

If that's what you meant Corn by "revealing myself".

Your response to me thinking you and trigger could be scum is

"WELL WHAT IF ALL 3 OF US ARE SCUM????"

Like what does that even accomplish if you are town? Lol. You're so fuckin scum.

You're scum trying to link me with you and (possibly trigger) so that I get lynched after you self destruct.

btw Flame, sorry about the hammer trap, setting someone random up as vote bait can be fickle like that

At least we can see now who pursued you on Day 2, knowing you weren't Mafia like them

We should probably take another look at the Day 2 voting patterns, IMO

So we should look at you pursuing Flame since you knew he wasn't scum like you? After your strung him up for a situation you created?

Flame's flip makes it extremely likely to me that StarSketch is town, because if Flame was town that means there wasn't any teammates acting to save Star. If she was scum there'd have to be something, with that small of a vote differential. Thus, the ending moments of Day 1 were town vs town, and Mafia didn't need to interfere to save any of their own. There's probably a scum in the other players that were in the top vote getting mix at the end, but not in the top pair.

The lack of immediate danger to scum teammates let you create a tie as a trap, assuming that the natural GAFia dislike of no lynches/ties would result in someone on town breaking the tie and appearing to be a super suspicious hammer vote on a town player. And if that didn't work, and there actually was a tie, that'd be fine too since it leaves us all with no info to act on on Day 2.

This combined with you still bringing up the Royal_Flush typo thing makes me think you're scum and Royal is your teammate who you're distancing yourself thing. You just need to be sure we can't possibly forget that you're suspicious of Royal.

Vote: Blargonaut

(And yeah, I voted Flame too. Was out of town, hadn't had a ton of time to think about the game, and the vote wasn't close anyway. And last minute hammers ARE suspicious.)

Where opinion do you have on Trigger and TheWorthyEdge? If Blargonaut doesn't become a lynch target tonight, how hard would you fight to protect these one of these two from being lynched?

Well, I don't really like limiting the conversation to two players so quick, but sure.

I've been suspicious of TWE since day 1. The claim that the initial Danny Phantom thing was a mistake claim was believable as a town thing, since otherwise it'd be a pretty audacious move, but the return to that well to try and fish out info on the role made me have to reconsider the early assessment. Even if the fishing was a bit blatant and obvious. If better targets aren't an option I could get behind a TWE lynch.

Trigger never really stood out for me, but the comment about Royal defending himself that didn't have much basis in fact seems like a weird thing that could, with some other evidence, construct a case I could get behind. Would have to look over stuff again.
