Going to be a really late night to watch the Texas game Saturday. I am going to be in Florida for a wedding so the game starts at 10:30... yikes. My wife is going to hate me in the hotel room watching the game at 2am.

If you have decent wifi or cell coverage you could always watch on your phone and use headphones.

The SEC;s record versus the P5 is a good statistic and speaks well for the conference. Similarly, the record versus top 25 is also good.

The comparison to all of FBS is just absurd. But still, SEC Network.

Feeling rejuvenated in my hate for Texas Tech.

They lost to a bad Sun Devils team in a game that had no defense. Texas Tech's defense is so bad that a high school team would put up 30 points on them.

Ohio State to wear "alternate jerseys" vs Oklahoma.

Same ones they wore vs Bama. theyre not too different from regular away, but the alts should be the default ones as theyre better.

I've decided I'm going to be a conference homer. But since I'm a future outlook kinda guy, I'm going to skip being a Big 12 homer and go straight to a Pac 12 homer since thats where Texas is inevitably headed.. Can't wait for our in-conference matchup with Cal this Saturday! Hook Em and Go Pac 12! Go Jeff Sagarin!

LOL...It's sad because its true. If the Big XII can't pull in a couple of big teams, the conference is as good as dead with any of the remaining teams leaving. Too bad, they will probably add two shit teams instead of the most obvious, national draws.

You know which team really loves to see no Big 12 teams in the top 10 and only 3 in the top 25?

I think Texas and Oklahoma will be in the Big Ten + six within 10 years honestly and the remnants of the Big XII will be split up, with ISU and KSU going to AAC, TCU back to MWC and bringing its buddy Baylor with it. The rest will find P5 homes though


Hell, OU barely disguises its desire to be in the Big Ten

Texas Tech will go to the Sun Belt & be happy about it. They have nothing to offer the world beyond a GQ coach & their budding one-sided rivalry with Penn State.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised by that honestly, I think they will get picked up by a P5(or 4 at that point), but them getting left out is a distinct possibility, the only 3 schools in the Big XII that are truly safe from expansion fallout are OU, UT and KU

Standing amongst many of you at the recent Alabama-USC game in AT&T Stadium, I was bewildered.
An Alabama student myself not 20 years ago, I remember what fun it was to dress up for football games. My friends and I would scour the racks of Banana Republic and other favorite stores for anything and everything crimson. We’d swap favorite pieces, share accessories and pull together our “best look” week after week, not only for those cute fraternity boys, but also to cheer on the mighty Tide.
What we didn’t want, and what we never did, was to show up for a college football game looking like we belonged in a Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
More than once at that last ballgame, I wished I could have wrapped my elephant scarf around one of you, teetering around on stilettos with your bra straps exposed and operating under the misguided notion that you looked irresistible.
I wondered if your mother knew what you were wearing.
I wanted to tell you that if you’re doing this for a boy, he’s not the one for you.
I wished you understood that a trend can be interpreted as fun and flirty without being tasteless.
Most of all, I hoped you would soon wake up to embrace the ethos shared by higher learning institutions everywhere - class.
That lucky shaker tucked into the back of your on trend boot?
The team logo you’re sporting on your cheek?
The Greek letters sticker on your shirt declaring the sorority to which you belong and your loyalty to your team?
All rendered classless by those ill covered curves you’ve made sure are on full display.
In talking with friends from all over the Southeast after college football’s opening weekend, it was immediately clear that this trend was hardly limited to the students I saw that Saturday.
Not that that made me feel any better.
Families attend these games. Little eyes are watching you.
On behalf of them, and the rest of us who feel embarrassed for you as you walk by, stop baring almost all in the name of game day fashion.
To be clear, I admire individuality and personal style. Team spirit is a precious tradition, and the vastly wide interpretation of any given school’s football culture is part of what makes Saturdays down south so darn fun (not to mention the stuff of people watching legend).
So by all means, be creative. Don your most debonair collegiate colors ensemble. Heck, try to sneak in a flask or two (this is college, after all).

Heh, well, I was at the game this last weekend, and it was certainly hot enough where it's completely understandable for anyone to wear as few pieces of clothes as possible.

College Girls always wore "Sunday Dresses" to the games. It's just that "Sunday Dresses" are coming with less material these days.

That and I think this lady is looking back with crimson colored glasses on how she used to dress. I'm going to guess it was a little different than she does now based on that picture I'm seeing in the link.

This is basically Old Woman Yells at Cloud and gets mad because coeds are 20 years younger than her.
