Really i don't care when they will announce it, of course i'm curious to see how exactly it looks and everything, but the only thing i want is them not to miss the March 2017 worldwide release date, they could announce it even a month before launch but i hope they won't delay the release date

The official Nintendo France site was down during some time about half an hour ago. Now it's back and there's no apparent update but could it be related for an upcoming NX focused Nintendo Direct announcement?

I loved Emily Roger's breakdown of the dates on Twitter, like "It won't be then because that day is a holiday. Also that day and that day. Nintendo aren't operating that day either. And don't expect it on this day, 'cos Kimishima's got a spa appointment".
October's looking more and more likely, even if that goes against my prediction.

If the NX is going to be named as Nintendo Fall or Nintendo Autumn sure.
It's scary how much this sounds like an article that one Forbes contributor would actually write.

None of them will go into hiding. All of them will insist this is just ONE of the nx devices and that the true one, the one they've been talking about, is still coming out later.
What if Nintendo uploaded the NX part of its site everywhere but it's not public yet. But some intern somewhere fucked up and it's leaked in the day!

There's no way in heck we're getting anything out of Nintendo this week. Best we might hear is an announcement on Twitter about a Direct next week tomorrow or Friday. I suggest to just relax and watch some car review videos. Like this one.

Isn't that literally what Nintendo has said NX was going to be?
Besides, I fully expect them to reveal only 1 device at first, and maybe even keep quiet about how the NX ecosystem works.
People are easily confused, just look at what happend with the Wii U. This time it has the potential to go even worse.

Not as far as i'm aware, no. Unless you're talking about the form factor quote from iwata, which doesn't necessarily imply nx is multiple skus. Their device that they're preaching is basically a nintendo ps4 pro, where the current rumored device is nintendo's vita.
I'm expecting everyone to form a nice orderly queue to make the thread and because we are all so polite we'll say "No, I insist, after you" for all eternity so by the time a thread is made the NX will have been out, lived out its shelf life and it's time to move on the speculation of the next Nintendo system.

Things is Nintendo admits the screwed up on the messaging for WiiU...so in Nintendo logic...the answer is ..an announce and then zero messaging?
Sometimes when you don't get advance review copies you get Doom..and often No Mans.
To the folks saying Nintendo knows what they are doing..history has proven that wrong..see treatment of 3rd parties, federation force, WiiU ,N3ds. I say this loving Nintendo. They are like my out of touch video game grandpa. I love em,but I don't trust them to drive
