I kinda agree with that unfortunately. Nintendo is clueless. Sometimes they get something that works and they try to repeat it (like OMG they love platformers, let's do a ton!), that's all there is to their strategy.

That's why there is so much questions about the NX. it can still be a fucking mess with no lessons learned from the WiiU debacle. It can!

It could be a multiform mess with no clear message nor strong ideas that tries to seduce everyone by having every gauges half filled. What we hear about it could go in that direction already.

I always said that's Nintendo biggest problem. They have to separate targets to design devices fully aimed at each of them.

It seems likely an announcement would be today or tomorrow if they are having press visit NoE headquarters. But are they? And what about NoA and NoJ?

Sliced bread is hard to reach if you ask me...I mean you can eat it and its already sliced, it could only be better if it was already buttered!

I just realized it doesnt make sense to see whats going on on the NX hashtag on twitter...because that wont be the final name...unfortunately with NES Mini releasing soon, Nintendo Entertainment System is out of question :(

Don't obsess over dates. It's not likely to be announced this week. Next week we may hear something about an early October reveal. It's so close now I don't even sweat it anymore. We KNOW it will be revealed before November. That leaves about a month.

No, I'm talking about their intention on unifying game development across multiple devices. AFAIK that was the main idea behind the NX operating system.

When this happens, home consoles and handheld devices will no longer be completely different, and they will become like brothers in a family of systems.”

To me, this inherently means multiple SKUs, even if they're not all made by Nintendo.

I don't follow this topic religiously, but I do check out pretty much every (NX) thread here and if this has been proven wrong, I must've missed it.

Well, so far. It looks like that Nicowav rumour of something NX related on September 20th didn't happen. (I can't remember if it was a reveal or announcement or something else.)

Emily Rogers has said October for the reveal but that pumpkin in the picture she posted better not mean a Halloween reveal...

And Nintendo has an investors Q&A on October 27th so if NX isn't revealed by then, they'll have trouble with investors. (Because it's the last one for the calendar year and they said they would reveal NX this year.)
