Pokemon Sun/Moon new info - Starter evolutions, Demo, Ash-Greninja

Typically depends on what the pokemon's role is on your team.
If your pokemon is an attacker, then you would mainly bump up attacking and speed stats. For a defensive pokemon you would mainly bump up hit points, and defensive stats.

Though if it's breedable, then eventually you'll be able to trade for it.

I only asked cause I was wondering if it were true, maybe there would be two variants for each final evo: either a human-like or beast-like variant.
But then the babies would have Torrent/Protean right?

I checked the scans again recently and while the blurb does mention that both Rockruff and the starters have secrets, it's implied that they're different secrets, yeah.

Calling it now: Ash-Greninja is a generation-locked exclusive thing ala Cosplay Pikachu and Spiky-Eared Pichu and won't be able to be transferred to Pokebank and won't be in the next games.
I actually HOPE it isn't, even if I don't care about it at all, since those restrictions and "cutting off" special Pokemon to a specific game is one of the lamest things Game Freak has done.

Well Spiky Pichu and Cosply Pichu were near useless, and the latter was to show off a feature that only returned because the games were remakes.
If Ash-Greninja is getting stat changes, then I think it has a better chance of staying. It'll depend on whether or not Battle Bond can be passed down via breeding. Unlike Pichu/Pikachu, it's form is activated by an ability and isn't permanent.

At this point I'm just thankful ash greninja is in a mainline game. If he's locked to this one that's fine. As long as I can play him.

Grass/Flying archer owl is cool af for sure, but I'm seriously in love with Popplio's supposed final. Prolly my favorite water starter since Feraligatr.

Ash-Greninja is likely receiving stat changes. I doubt he'll be locked out in future gens.

I think one difference is that Ash-Greninja has an exclusive ability, and those have never been cut off from later games.
Is there a reason that people hate poplio? It's not my favorite water starter but I would still say it's pretty cute overall.
I think I'd probably personally go with rowlett if that Robin Hood archer thing turns out to be real but my daughter already picked Poplio as her first choice

Pokemon 3DS games are all over 1 gig.
Wow these don't look that bad. Brionne and Dartrix have so much personally while Torracat looks meh.
Dartrix has darts under his wing which is a nice touch to the bow in the final form.
Sad to see rotation battles go they were my favorite. The mind games were amazing and forcing your opponent to have no good move was so much fun. Too bad the engine could not handle it. Hope it returns at some point.

400 mb is far more than needed if GF neglects to remove data tables again.
For the record ORAS was around like 240mb and they literally got everything sans models and music.
That doesn't matter. Oras' demo was datamined and we got everything out of it

Well...I said it before, I'm eating crow big-time. I legitimately thought there'd be no way that Ash-Greninja considering how out of place it looked (and still looks that way in the trailer IMO). Eh, I'll just box the thing anyways. Protean Greninja is still best Greninja.

We'll literally get everything except the models and the music, the ORAS demo even had some of the delta episode shit in it.

There was also a list of every area/map coded into ORAS, that's how people figured that the Battle Frontier was missing.

Wow. That's nice. I'm still sticking with Litten. Mega Evolutions are back, as expected. I wasn't expecting Ash-Greninja but that was a nice surprise.
The cat looks grossly bulky, while the seal girl looks like a tube-person. The owl's hair is just :|
Like the starters minus Popplio, Popplio's line continues to suck now, but the evo's are also sucky so far. Thank god the finals look okay in the leaks.
I'm not really sad if we get stats and stuff from the demo. I'd HOPE Gamefreak didn't do that again but maybe it's such a minority that looks at the leaks that they dont care? I dunno. I have a lot of fun when stats come out and pouring over those.
I mean its not going to only be stats

They haven't done something like that since Gen 3.
The demo is probably a stand alone thing like ORAS' was. The only thing that will carry over is probably ash greninja

If Super Greninja is breedable then the babies would either have Torrents or Battle Bond, though that depends on few factors like can Battle Bond be passed down and if it's treated as a regular ability or a hidden ability.
The only time Protean would come into factor if one of the parents have that ability.

What bothers me about Brionne's design is that its official art does touches on that pet peeve I have in cutesy eastern art where face perspective is ignored and the entire mouth is just pasted on the side of its head. Makes it look amateur.
