Ive started ZTD, I wasnt sure at first because most of the time i felt i was watching a movie. The art style is ugly :(
However the puzzles seem very good so far.
Impressions:
Its sad interactivity is reduced.
Carlos: Seems a nice guy
Eric: An asshole
Q: Annoying but he's just a kid
Mira: Booooobs
Akane: Seems sweet but
maybe acting?
Theres some interesting parts like
Diana says Sigma and Phi are like siblings
Is there a safe thread to talk ZTD? (Im on the mobile site which is very hard to navigate)

I finally got my second, and final watch in the mail yesterday. Both have cracked cases, but I refuse to let this mess go any further.

After all the confusion, fighting to have a second one sent (like I was supposed to) and fighting to have the shipping be free for both shipments, I'm officially done.

In the end it was more a matter of principle. I'll also never be ordering anything from Aksys again.

My watch is supposed to be arriving today before 8pm. I got an email about a week ago already asking me to "leave packaging feedback" so I don't have high hopes for the case being in great condition.

It's amazing that the whole reason the watches were delayed in the first place was because they got damaged, and after all this time will still end up getting damaged watches. : /

My watch ended up arriving today, in the same type of bubble wrap envelope as everyone else. The case was only slightly cracked, and the watch was mostly intact, although part of the clasp had come off (the part at the end of the strap). Thankfully I was able to get it back on pretty easily, and it stayed on while I wore the watch for a while. Now to get my customs money back from Amazon...

Anyone else in the thread still not received anything (I.E. not even the game)? I've been busy over the last month and haven't had a chance to bother Amazon support that much. However, I've kind of lost my will on this issue.

I'm right there with you. Never got the game, never got an email about the watch or anything, don't even care enough anymore to find out about it, just moved on to other games.

I finally managed to get my watch yesterday, it ended up taking 3 customer support chats over the span of a month - the first to sort the postage refund, the second to sort the custom fee refund and the third to get another watch dispatch after the first one spent a month stuck in a Landmark post facility in America.

In the end the case was broken and had the telltale glue spots, the watch had come off the stand and there was obvious dirt or fingerprints or something on the watch face but the watch itself isn't broken so I'm calling it a victory. Never importing an Aksys game again though.

Small update, I got my watch but it was obviously one of the original batch with the glue spots and some minor scratches but the watch is fine. Barely fits me though. Now on the real update, I got a mail from Amazon confirming that they are in process of refunding my import costs which were around €100, is going to take a couple of more days but then this is over. Now I really should get to the game already since I haven't played it yet.

Amazon reduced the price of watch to 48 dollars. Now you can use that remaining 100 dollar credit and order two for free again. I did and they already shipped.

In the end I ain't mad. Got 4 extra watches and 20 dollar credits.

Thanks. This is so weird though. Are they trying to get through their stock since they had leftovers from not enough people picking them up? I feel kind of bad for taking advantage of this then, but I'd also like to play the odds and hopefully get one that has no damage at all.

And like you, I can't even really be mad anymore, since I've ended up pretty well off from this. It's just super weird, and mostly ended up being a huge annoyance because it took so much time to resolve.

I wish I had gotten any email from Amazon in the first place.
I mean, I got the game more or less in time, but I have never received any information about how to get my watch. I have all but given up on it.

Same here. I don't know if I should bother asking them. I have the game but haven't played it yet though.

I won't bother asking them. The whole watch situation has been a huge fuck-up and in my opinion most of the fault lies with Amazon. GameStop pre-orderers apparently got the watch without a hitch and didn't even have to order it with some stupid code or anything. Meanwhile on Amazon the watch was put up costing $500 which royally screws with everyone who didn't live in the US with tremendous import fees that easily reached $100+.

Some months later I'm still waiting. And I will probably never wear a watch again. :(

I got a watch, but it let me order 3 more, no fee. :O

Thats really nice. Hopefully one of those doesn't have a defect like my first one.

Yeah. The whole 500 dollar listing plus customs fees is a disaster. I don't know why it's so difficult to just send a watch to everyone who ordered. Surely their system is not that inflexible...

Welp, I grabbed 2 more for free because why not. That now brings me to one that's open and on my shelf and then 5 sealed watches. LOL. What am I gonna do with these? Hope I can sell them at some point, but kinda doubting it.

I ordered two more and I'll ask for a refund on the shipping cost - like I did with my other two watches. I really hope one of these ones is in good condition, or I'm gonna end up with four damaged watches LOL.

Most of us who got credit first round received 600 credit.
But the watch price was set at 500 so we always had 100 left over.

When the multiple qty owners were given new credit, we were given 300 and watch price was set to 150 and most of us got two and used up 300 new credit but still had 100 left over.

Now that the watch price is down to 48, we're using up the remaining 100 credit from the first promotional credit we received.

Got my free ones. Still dame broken ass versions but this tine they sent them in box.

Can't complain since they're more free watches on top of previous free ones.

I'm amazed that still after all these months, they manage to send the broken ones even after they knew that they were sending broken ones and not the good ones.

What a shitshow. Don't preorder stuff from Aksys kids.

I was charged $500.50 because I didn't return the item. I never received the item so, I can't return it. I explained to the CSR and she said that I wouldn't get charged. Today, I got a refund of $48.90...

A month ago I finally got my watch but it was broken. Since they already charged me for 90$ I wanted to first get the money back and then order a second one. I contacted Amazon CS and they told me to send it back get the money back, restore my Promotional Credit and order another one. Turns out the guy from CS lied to my face and there is no way for me getting a watch since they reimbursed the 90$ already. Basically I am screwed and after waiting months I wont receive something I ordered over a year ago. Never again Aksys.

When he contacted CS b/c the promotional credit was nor returned, the CS said it was impossible b/c it was special promotion and decided to refund him actual 98 dollars to his credit card. Dayum!
