After playing the game for about 10 hours (Chapter 5) I will release my impression,
This a game that I waited for years and years, and I can't believe that I am actually playing the game for myself, first of all I am very surprised by how great the battle system is, it's really great battle system, it's easy to learn the basics but hard to master, it's fast paced but with a lot of tactics elements, it's not a button mashing system, you couldn't win any battle by just holding the attack button, and also I need to mention that the battle system is getting better and better when you progress more in the story, because more and more options become available by the time..
In the other hand I found that the main characters are really good, they are fun to follow and you will like them real fast, I can't talk about the story because I'm currently in chapter 5 and I need to progress in the story more before I judge anything in the story, but I can say that there will be people who will like the story and others will not, much like FF XII,
There is also the side quests, there are a massive amount of side quests, you can get those quests from almost everywhere in the game world, however there are a different kinds of side quests, one of these types is the hunt quests, you can take these quests from the restaurants and you will be rewarded with gil's (the main currency in the game) and other useful items, when you complete a hunt quest, your rank will increase, there are some hunt quests that require a specific rank, personally I enjoy the hunt quests in FF XV more the ones in The Witcher 3, for one reason, it's the combat system!!! the hunts with the crazy battle system make every single hunt quest an epic quest!
And I have to mention that there are a really strong side bosses within the hunt quests, now I will talk about the other type of side quests, the second type is the quests that you receive from the NPCs, there are also a massive amount of these quests, you will get some of them suddenly when you explore the world, or you can just talk to the NPCs, there are another type of quests, the third type is the quests that you receive from the other three main characters, these quests will appear in certain times or in random moments, so you just need to keep exploring and you will get some of these quests.
I'm currently playing the game on the normal PS4, and I found the graphics to be really good, especially in comparison to other open-world RPG games, but unfortunately there are some problems in the game, driving the car manually is frustrating, you can't control the car like you want, the car will move automatically most of the time, and some times the car just refuse moving to where I want it to go, so I use the automatic driving option always and give Ignis the wheel, second issue is the frame rate drops, and there are so many glitches (like most of the latest games), also there are so many animation issues, I can't remember any other nagitive points about the game, most of these problems will be fixed in the future patches.
I haven't encountered many bosses so far because I'm just in the 5th chapter, but so far all of them are great, I have also encountered a specific side boss and it was so epic!!, so you don't have to worry about this point, It's FF game after all, I got to see two regions so far, and there are more to come, the world is just so big, every single region is bigger than the entire FF XIII world, so it's massive world and there is so much to do, so enjoy the game.
I don't have more to tell about the game right now, and I hope everyone can enjoy this great game.
