Didn't forget. Purposely omitted to prove the point that even if it was only people from the films you could make a great roster. Once you start adding in the TV properties then there are even more options, yes.
Iron Fist and Ghost Rider were already made for MvC3 so I definitely see them coming back at minimum regardless of anything else.
Even so, KI was inevitably gonna end on PC, people knew even back then, so the only actual viable fighting game machines on the long run were gonna be either PC or PS4.
In fact thanks to KI, if they ever port KOF14 to PC, then PC becomes the ultimate Fighting game machine.

I may be one of the few who would be happy to see as many of the old X-Men as possible sit this one out. I want to see a huge roster shake up this time. The X-Men had their time, let's get some new characters in on both sides.

The reason most people want X is because he's the most badass, cool and "serious" version of Megaman, he's the most "adult" and he's just got this edge to him that the others don't really have. All the other "Megamen" are either kid-like, being used by kids or just I don't know, different (Volnutt). X on the other hand's serious enough and he can transition into this series well. That's one reason why I'm personally fine with Classic being in Smash Bros. He's more fun and fits the whole feel of Smash Bros better than X would.
I can see X going toe to toe with somebody like Nova. I can't see Classic doing that.

Basically the only SF character that would actually fit in MK.
People always say they want SF vs MK because the 90's rivalry, but in reality what would make sense is MK vs Darkstalkers.
Classic Mega Man fits just fine. It's not like Marvel vs. Capcom has a unified "mature" aesthetic when there are characters like Arthur, Viewtiful Joe, and Rocket Raccoon.

Well it's known now and PS4 has four exclusive fighters now. I'd say if you haven't gotten a cheap PS4 and like Fighters you're doing it wrong.

I didn't say Classic wouldn't fit in. I said he wouldn't fit in with it better than X and I used the Smash Bros analogy. Classic just fits in Smash Bros better than X would. X would fit in Marvel better than Classic. Doesn't mean they both wouldn't fit in general.
