Maybe it's just me but I have zero sympathy for whatever happens to any trump, pence, any of the cronies he's putting in position etc

Your part of a group that spews hatred. So you don't get a pass from anything being thrown at you

Does it feel good to condone harassing a woman in front of her children, just because she happens to be the daughter of a contentious figure? I mean, do you genuinely feel good about yourself for saying that?

It's easy to be a tough guy over the internet.

I agree that the focus should've been on her senior adviser (and real piece of shit) husband, sure.

Why is Jared a POS?

Yeah the guy was a dick. Kick him off.

As much as I hate Trump, Ivanka seems like the most level-headed of the bunch and really didn't deserve this.

She's just better at hiding it - she was present at Trump's presidential meeting with Japan for no other reason but to profit.

Trumps be slimy through and through.

I am confused. Why is Ivanka Trump flying on a commercial airline and in coach, also doesn't she get a secret service detail - I assume they would step in rather than airline security.

None of this makes any sense.

Bakeries and airplanes seem to be the social frontlines of america.

The guy went on, "Why is she on our flight. She should be flying private." The guy had his kid in his arms as he went on the tirade.
This is probably the first time in human history someone said something like that.

That you don't like her father doesn't mean that by proxy you gotta go after her, specially that way.

He's a white supremacist. She supported and enabled him. She spoke and rallied on his behalf and raised money for him.

People need to stop giving Ivanka a pass because they're thirsty.

But like, she can fly on a plane without getting harassed. There's a time and a place.

Will it be okay after her father commits the war crimes he's promised to commit, or will it be after he begins rounding up illegal immigrants and/or Muslims?

Are you asking if it would be okay to harass Ivanka Trump on an airplane after Donald does bad shit?

No, it would still not be okay. Picket the airport or whatever but people just wanna travel and she's not flying in an airplane to go gas some Muslims.

Even then, aim your ire towards Donald, not his daughter, unless she's actively participating in those things.

What, besides being more responsible for Trump's election than anyone else on Earth (save, perhaps, James Comey)?

I'm rusty on the Jaron Kushner 'more responsible for Trump's election than anyone else on Earth,' can you refresh my memory?

Not that I like any of them at all, and obviously voted against Trump (Twice even!), but I don't understand Kushner's pivitol role here.

Independent, I thought? That's why she couldn't vote in the primary.

She has raised and donated money for both Republicans and Democrats in the past (including Hillary Clinton).

But at this point, none of that matters. She is standing by her father and will have a role in his administration, so she supports his views as far as I'm concerned.

People need to go look at that "Princess" article - it does a fantastic job explaining as to why people give Ivanka more slack regarding her political views and why we should absolutely not do that. (Except we shouldn't harass her on a plane, obviously)

Jesus Christ.

If someone does something that makes you angry, take it up with them, don't direct your anger towards individual members of their family and start harassing them just as a means of making yourself feel better.

Jared Kushner was absolutely pivotal to the Trump campaign. Have zero illusions about it. Feel free to read the longform Forbes interview they did regarding his role. Just because no one heard about him doesn't mean he wasn't critical to an endeavor. I'd copy paste excerpts but apparently my work PC doesn't allow it from Forbes.

Uhh, nothing her father does has anything to do with whether she should be harassed.

I don't give a shit about Ivanka. She's not some innocent. She's actively involved with the presidency now and she's going to profit handsomely from it. Fuck her.

Okay yes, fine.

But do you think it's okay for this dude to be a dick to her on a plane? Like, can't we be adults about our enmity and Subtweet her later in a passive aggressive way?

Some of y'all throwin normal decency and morals out the window

Woah, some of the replies in here. Some of you don't understand like it or not laws are there to protect everyone and harassment will always have a consequence if YOU are the instigator.

No one is asking anyone to "like" Ivanka, simply agree you do not start shit on an aeroplane AS the aggressor.

At some point some of you are no better than online harassment mobs you detest as they also think their "goals justify the means".

The guy was out of line and got kicked off.

I am not sure what more you would want?

this thread is a classic example of what i've been saying about liberals since forever -- they're more racist and biased than any of things they accuse of being racist -- it's just racism against non-minorities and republicans. even worse is that ivanka is an immigrant, who they claim to love so much...i guess only if they have the right political views

/smh

A plane is absolutely not place to do something like that, but I'm sorry...I simply do not feel bad for Ivanka in the least.

She's an active part of her father's regime; while it may be wrong to target her if this individual's frustrations lie with Donald, this isn't exactly out of left field.

If he was truly as aggressive as his husband tweeted, then I have no issue with JetBlue removing him. I don't condone his actions, especially given the environment, but I simply have no sympathy for the Trump family and the politics they have helped to popularize.

The guy who did this is a Lawyer.....his husband a college professor. If "professionals" can't keep their cool and stay classy.......yikes. This type of "behavior" doesn't help the dems for 2020.

I have no problem with someone telling Ivanka Trump how they feel about her father and her family if they make their point civilly and then walk away. I also have no issue with JetBlue yanking someone from a flight if they're being disruptive.

Lolol
What

It's reverse racism!

Bahahaha

Since we're so focused on this fairly non-story, what new outrage is it that the incoming administration is trying to distract us from?

The lawyer is a bit worrying, the professor not so much. Many "professors" on campuses these days teach students first to be social activists, not teach education/theory/concepts/history first and then let the students decide what to do with it themselves. It's becoming more like religious circles where the doctrine and beliefs of the professors are "instilled" in the students. Not the way impartial educational systems should be, the professors should be there to simply stimulate, teach and present evidence, and as I said students make up their own minds what to do with it.
