^Well if your going to compare leads to uuevo RaDrag they will all come way short.

The question should be do I want to build it just for fun.

I'm saying I might need his unawoken evo's skill for Ra Dragon. The extra move time is super handy.

I'd make him awoken if I had a spare so I guess there's a chance if the rank 50 pull goes my way.

Still it's not like tanky dark rows are a new thing. Ichigo does make the playstyle viable in a lot more content.

Damn, the new descended boss Titania has an inheritable gem-like burst for one turn.

Active (can be transferred): Increases ATK for every Wood and Light +orbs awoken skill on the team for 1 turn (similar to Silk)

That should find some great use in ALB farm set ups. I can see myself inheriting her on summer Armadel or grodin tamazo.

Misato got a 3rd prong and +450 atk. Now the highest atk 3 prong fire card and 2nd overall after Dark Athena. Glad I have a hyper Misato.

So Golden Mound is coming up tomorrow. Does anyone know if there is a working double Ganesha team to farm it quickly? I'm poor as fuck after the last star den and random inherits for SDR. I'm assuming Nazca would be involved so I need to get on that train finally.

He is going to be so good.

Gotta get some skills on mine. I rolled him 2 collabs ago and didn't really find a place for him. (Partially because Hino at the time had no sbr and was a 2 tpa on shiva).

Looks to be quite good and is unbindable and has a bind clear.

I can't wait for Ra Dragon evo, I'm so ready.

Also, what evo is best for Sanada subbing in a Krishna team? I was convinced for R/R but I saw someone say R/D.

RR is better than RD unless the dude who thinks RD is better can justify it. Krishna has enough OE between the 2 leaders, rows are much more important. The only thing RD offers is an extra point of damage on unbreakable defense enemies.

edit: I've been wondering this for a while, anybody know if the color of the banner in the Special and Technical dungeon menus has significance to it? I notice in Special most of them are green but there's always at least one purple a blue and one brownish red one. Technical dungeons are almost all green but a few blues and all the end game (arena, etc) are red.

Yeah R/R for Krishna. The extra rows are more helpful (at least till you hit ~10 rows IIRC).

Re: Banner color
Brown = normal no shenanighans by enemies beyond just smacking you for damage.
Green = Technical, expect the enemies to play dirty, skill delays, jammers, poisons, status shields, binds, all show up in these.
Pink = Rogue. As technical but you start at level 1 and get experience based on enemies killed and the cost of the cards on your team (lower cost cards level up faster)
Blue = Conditional, As technical but includes things like NO RCV/Awakenings, All ATT Req'd etc
Red = Annihilation difficulty. Enemies are dramatically boosted in strength and there's little to no room for error.
Light green = Multiplayer only
Silver = Specific monster required in your party, globe challenges and the xmas monster challenge goes here.
-----------------------------

I managed to solo clear Legendary Remains no stone with Myr. Luck was definitely a factor.
Team:
Myr
Wukong (Gadius)
Apocalypse
Revo Venus (Ars Nova)
Awoken Sakuya
Myr

The dungeon is pretty easy, stall out the stripe and cloud mechanics and kill when possible. Have a board change for Beelzetama.

Ninegaruda goes down easy, lots of HP but he has a light vulnerability. You can stall for a decent board here, it took me three turns. Second Form was a much scarier fight. First turn he locks the whole board. I planned on inheriting Maeda Keiji on Venus for this but forgot. I had enough hearts to cross and clear, which didn't help much since he just locked the board again. Ate the next hit after clearing what I could. He spawned two bombs because I didn't clear three of the four corners. I managed to burn two Myrs for enough hearts to cross and heal through the bomb damage. From there I did enough damage with Wukong to bring him to ~55% HP. I needed to stall a couple more turns to get Apoc back after Beelzetama, heart skyfall saved me. Then when I had actives and Sakuya resisted a bomb drop I popped her breaking resolve, then Apoc, then Nova. Apoc gave me enough of a board and Nova didn't eat enough hearts to fuck me over. From there it I made a board with 1 light row, and 2 light TPAs with some random dark combos thrown in for the kill.

It was an incredibly satisfying fight but I don't think I'll be doing that again.

The year is 2020. Reincarnated Liu Bei farm teams are finally starting to get overtaken by Reincarnated Machine Zeus&Hera. Gungho announces a new type of evolution : Reawakenings. Reawakened Liu Bei's leader skill is listed as follow :

Green Flood
ATK x2.5 when simultaneously clearing 6 connected Wood orbs. ATK x0.5 for each additional orb, up to ATK x14.5 at 30 connected orb. Wood attribute cards ATK x2, reduce damage by 50% on the turn a skill is used.

And every boss has a combo shield + resolve

This is what I've been saying. Tired of combo leads being glass cannons.

I know dark Kanna is barely a combo lead with the 5 combo stipulation, but she is tanky as hell. My team has over 71k hp with the badge. Took me through arena 2 solo. Krishna is kind of a combo lead too and he's tanky. I too wish there was more, bastet, Shiva, etc... Are my favorite play style. I'm loving Rukia still as well and she has naturally high hp being a water lead.

I know this doesn't help much, but those 3 combo leaders can tackle pretty much everything.

"activates a random skill" and those awakenings means no

pretty good HP and ATK though and two TPAs...

anyway I'm just one devilit away now, watch as I blow 200 stamina and get 8 angels

What's the point of restricting inherits to REM monsters if you're just going to arbitrarily grant the ability to farmables?
I don't know that it's arbitrary. It gives them an out in the event there's some powerful skill they don't want to show up on every team (menace). But yeah seems odd they'd suddenly make exceptions. I'm hoping they go all in and let anything be inherited.

Side note: The Bleach uevos are ready. I ran Rukia and her RCV is nuts.

EDIT: how the hell does new Noctis kill Sopdet?

I don't know what this means :O

edit: I looked it up on the internet! I just played a 1-1 draw. We in boiz!

TY for the heads up btw. Feels kinda scummy of me to get full reward for that thing when I only contributed 1 crown. How does that system make sense?

Grats - she is an amazing lead...maybe even too amazing lol.

Congrats! What sort of team composition are you looking at?

Bless. It was a fun and often frustrating project (farming evo mats and needing to max level the base monsters is never enjoyable). Very good feeling to hit Evolution, scroll through my box, and see her portrait lit up.

Per Bladelaw's helpful post a page or two back I'm going to awaken DQXQ of course, and also use L/L Kanna. From there idk for sure; I have 3 max-skilled Sarias, Wee Jas, Ilm (leader evo though), Fenrir Viz, Moogle etc. so I can probably do something. Quite worried about activation -- I rely heavily on having at least one active up per turn for Ronove to guarantee the cross activation, even if I don't get a full burst combo. I'm worried about a lack of hearts and then not having enough of her one color.

Evening All!!

New player here and I gotta say I feel totally lost in this game :/ The matching part is fine, but man are there a ton of monsters and gods!!

A good friend of mine gave me an account he started a while back and it has quite a few good gods in it, but my rank is like 10 right now and I have no idea who to invest in and build up. So, I was hoping to get some help and maybe a link to a good starting guide.

Also, my ID is 347,494,219 and I'm probably going to be playing this for a long while, so please add me if you have space.

anyway, the gods I got from my friend is:
-Kanna
-Kali
-Horus
-Isis
- 3 Ra's (what am I supposed to do with duplicates???)
-Persephone
-Annubis
-Acala

Those are some very good cards. If you're confident in your matching, you could set Isis or Horus as your leader. They get an attack boost if you attack with at least 3 different colors on the same turn (Isis) or 4 (Horus). Persephone might be useful in the very early game because she gives a (small) flat attack and recovery bonus to dark cards, so you can start looking for good dark cards and not have to worry about a condition to increase your damage.

Stay away from Anubis as your lead, as he requires 10+ combos in a single turn to get his (very large) bonus. Meeting that condition can be difficult even for experienced players. Also stay away from Acala, who is very strong but requires some advanced orb manipulation.

Keep your Ra duplicates. His leader skill may be tough to activate at your stage, but he's extremely useful late game due to his active skill, which helps farm some useful dungeons and monsters extremely quickly.

I added you ("moblin") but I'm not sure how much use you'll get out of my cards.

Post some screen shots of your full box. PAD players love giving box help I've found. I feel like after 5 or 6 months I've finally gotten a grasp on my own shit but I'm still in no place to give advice.

I will say 1. Kanna is a card that just got really nice buffs to her later evolutions so she seems like a good card to focus on as a leader, but I have no clue what kind of team she necessitates.

and 2. Ra is a good card to have dupes of because he is what's called a "button" or a card who has a really good nuke ability that you can press to clear out a floor of low HP trashy mobs, such as popular farmed monsters like Tamadras and Metal Dragons (which are the best EXP).

There's a lot to learn about PAD when you're first starting out. Some general tips:

Save ALL of your complimentary stones to roll on God Fest (which come around middle and end of every month). Don't ever waste them on stuff like continuing in a dungeon. If you need box space, that's an ok place to spend them, but until you get a lot of good rare pulls in your box, save them for rolling!

The biggest tip I needed when I started was to make friends with leaders that have skills that complement your own leader. No matter who you go with as your leader, try to find and invite friends that have that same leader because the bonuses they apply are multiplicative. So for instance if you have a card that gives "x5 attack to red cards when matching blah blah" as your leader, and you have a friend that has that same leader, you get x25 attack rather than x10.

https://mantasticpad.com/2016/03/09/popular-leaders-and-their-full-sub-list/

Here's a semi-outdated list of popular leaders and what types of cards make good subs for them. Check to see if any of your gods are listed here. But because it's older it won't have stuff like Kanna on there, and the Horus that is listed is a slightly more dated version of the best current Horus, but it could give you a direction to head.

If you're on iOS take screenshots of your box and post em here and guys like Bladelaw will give you way more helpful advice than I could. If you're on android either do the same, or go here and find out how you can keep your box up on here automatically:

Out of those, the easiest card to lead with when you're starting out is Isis. She (as well as Kali, Horus, and Ra) is what is called a rainbow lead - her attack boost varies based on how many colors you attack with. She provides a 3x attack boost when matching three colors (9x if you're using another Isis as the friend lead). Just make sure you have a card of each attribute on the team (it can be the main attribute or the sub-attribute), because a color that doesn't actually attack won't count. The other rainbow leads pack more of a punch, but are harder to activate.

What you do with duplicates depends heavily on the card. Some have split evolutionary paths with multiple useful evolutions. Ra is a special case because of his skill, which does true damage. There are some dungeons filled his enemies with extremely high defense but low HP, and some people like to just use true damage (or poison) skills to kill the enemies without having to make combos. For a team like that, up to five copies of Ra could be useful.

Anubis is an extraordinarily powerful combo-based lead, but his leader skill is very hard to activate, especially when just starting out. Persephone would be a good sub for him, or a decent leader of her own (and Anubis would be a good sub for her).

Acala is one of the few leaders more powerful than Anubis, but again she is very difficult to use. She also requires cards that can make wood and/or fire orbs to be fully effective.

Most importantly: KEEP EVERY CARD THAT COMES OUT OF THE RARE EGG MACHINE! Even if you don't think there's any way a card could be useful to you, keep it, because you don't know how things might change.

Oh, and also: Only pull from the Rare Egg Machine during a Godfest. Those are when the best cards are available.

You can use the extra Ra's in a team to blow up the metal dragon dungeons with all their pure damage or equip them on another monster to specific dungeon floors in later dungeons.

Look into getting carried in coop dungeons for metal dungeons for monster EXP, Monday dungeon for rank EXP. Co-op halves the cost for dungeons so you'll get a lot more done if you can find some partners.

Save the magic stones you get over time and from clears on godfests. We can suggests some to roll on if you'd like as they come down the road if you ask. Try not to roll on seasonal Gachas like the christmas/new years/summer/etc unless you are 1000% sure you know what you're doing and are willing to walk away with nothing. Seasonal gachas are BIG traps for everyone, even mega whales but more so for newer players. Most of the cards in them are, at best, side-grades to existing cards.

**I suggest using Kanna to plow the early/mid game while you gain more exp for your cards and stones for godfest rolls.**

From the cards listed the teams would look like:

Kanna/Ra/___/___/Kali

With the two extra slots going to anything you want that's a god or dragon. More Ra or even Isis/Horus/Acala/etc. It's fairly open. Since Kanna gives an unconditional boost to god/dragon types, as long as something is one of those type,s she'll boost them. God is an extremely common typing, with dragon becoming a lot more common nowadays.
For Ra:

Ra/ (Persep/Anubis) /Isis/Horus/Acala

**Ra is a bit advanced so I don't recommend using him right away but something to practice with once in a while and a 2nd team to build up**

You need all 5 colors(Fire, water, wood, dark, light) to active Ra's leader skill so you'll have to use a big group of different main elements to fill those colors till you can get some of the cards evolved to gain sub elements to help that. Like I stated above, Ra is tougher to use but he'll teach you to plan out moves, help your combo matching over time and overall help your ability to spot/make combos on the board.

I already sent you a friend invite. Enjoy the ride, it's a hell of a time.

I saw that Kuramitsuha was a no-skyfall dungeon. I figured, "Hey, I have a no-skyfall leader on both accounts that I could use some practice with, I'll self-coop with her!" And I didn't bother to look up anything else about the dungeon.

So I went in with Acala.

A green multi-cross leader in a dungeon with combo shields, a wood absorb, and no skyfall.

And I kicked the dungeon's ass. Combo shields? Wood absorbs? Fall before the mighty stalling ability of Acala!

Of course, that was just the lower difficulty. So I went back in to the higher difficulty with the same teams and crushed it again. Sure, this is an easy dungeon, but I really like Acala.

Thank you :) I'll take your advice and concentrate on using Kanna and Isis in the beginning :) The link I browsed through above was rather difficult to read...so many terms and concepts!! I'm gonna have to do some research it seems....

Keep an eye out for the "gift" dungeons in the Special tab. With a few exceptions, they're trivially easy to complete and the freebies are helpful in one way or another. If you rank up high enough to reach 30 stamina before the end of the weekend, you'll be able to run the gift dungeon "EXP of a lifetime" which will give you a lot of rank EXP.

There's a lot of gameplay loops to keep you busy early on, in addition to clearing normal dungeons past Castle of Satan you'll be wanting to level up and evolve your commonly used monsters. If you look at the Quest section in the Other menu that'll give you some goals to work on.

Yep it works! Just glancing at your box, you have a lot of seriously powerful dark cards. Durga is a good lead I see Dzy use (popular PAD streamer, recommend his youtube and twitch channels). Your Kali is a Dark Kali too (there's a Light version too that's not quite as powerful), and you've got other powerful cards too like Pandora, Hades, Castor. Yeah, your dark box is awesome. I don't know how to best align them into a team or who the best leader of the bunch is for you, but that'd be a good place to focus. I'm sure Bladelaw will have some good team recs for you.

I'd have a field day with your box as a noob tho. You even have Liu Bei. You're going to want to evo him eventually, but that's farther in the future (when you can farm Zeus Dios).

If you have any PAL points saved up, there's a Pal Egg Machine (PEM) event going on right now called "Evo Carnival" which will give you lots of evolution materials and is one of the most useful early egg machines you can roll on so you can start evo'ing some of your power cards without having to access high level dungeons for the drops. You get PAL points by using other leaders to complete dungeons (5 pts for non-friend, 10 for friend and 100 for best friend). Other carnivals for you to look for later are Enhance Carnival (which drops metal dragons for exp). There's a carnival called "Rare Monster Carnival' if you see that DON'T spend points on it. Those cards are for skilling up very specific cards and don't benefit 90% of the cards in the game for the most part.

You have Liu Bei which is already a big plus in creating the perfect farming/coop team which will help you save alot of time in the long run. Your aim should be to Awaken Liu Bein and farm/max skill 3 Zeus Dios Ult Evo while working on other stuff.

Getting Zhang Fei and Zhao Yun with coop help from a Gaffer shouldnt be too difficult...same for the Jewels via Challenges.

Then again you are only Rank 7...but you already have so many REM pulls ? Maybe first spend some time clearing normal dungeons before going for the Awoken Liu Bei route.

I'd recommend a dark team. You have 3 capable leads that also make great subs in Persephone, Pandora, and Durga.

Pandora is probably the easiest to use since all you need to do is match darks in a row. The wrinkle is her awoken leadership strongly encourages devils on your team which isn't always the easiest to field.

Persephone and Durga does best with Two-pronged attacks (match 4 orbs, no more, no less).

Durga has an added rainbow component to her damage multiplier.

Given your box I'd probably build up awoken Persephone to start. She has a strong defensive boost, a large sub pool, and easy activation.

Try clearing normals and farm Evo materials to build up this team:

Awoken Persephone
Smiting Hand Slayer Goddess, Durga
Destruction Blade Mechanical Star God, Castor
Snow Star Byakko, Haku
Awoken Pandora

The important thing to note with Awoken Persephone is you need to match dark and blue in the same turn.

You can swap Durga and Persephone and still have a functioning team but I'd probably swap Haku for DKali at that point.

Awoken Pandora's team will look a little different since you're a little short on good devils.

Awoken Pandora
Snow Star Byakko Haku
Awoken Persephone (can also use her dark/red Evo)
Castor
Hamal

I would work on the other team until you get more devils personally. Zuoh and Aketchi are big parts of strong Awoken Pandora team.

does anyone have opinions on The Final Getsugatensho, Ichigos' new Uevo?

It looks like a strong farm lead, considering making a team around it - haven't really been playing and bothering to use my stamina

maybe a new farm lead would help.
