Every song has my mouth open in wonder, clutching my headphones to my ears so I don't lose any sound from these tracks. How do they do it, El-P especially.

Best Christmas present. Thursday in the Danger Room is a tear jerker. Glad to see them to balance more of the absurd stuff. That's what I lovedl about Killer Mike's solo work. Manages to balance the more out there lyrics with humanist stuff.

Did not expect I was going to be crying to RTJ on Christmas morning.

So good

Edit: how is this beat on Panther like a Panther even real? My god it's disgusting

Panther like a Panther is my favorite track at the moment. When the beat kicked in I was standing up walking around my house. Stopped dead in my tracks and started dancing like a fool.

Man this album is hot fya all the way through! Really doesn't feel like a collection of song just put together, but one coherent album with defined sounds and themes.

Are there any other producers like el-p out there? I mean the man is on whole other level, but I'm looking for people with new and fresh styles. I've been kinda down on rap music as of late. A lot of the stuff just kinda sounds the same and doesn't really try anything new.

Agree with all the Panther Like a Panther love. Such a fucking dope track.

I am stuck doing xmas stuff just now, so I don't remember the exact tracks, but a couple reminded me of stuff like Sea Legs but just done even better. I wanna say the last track (or maybe the one before it) specifically sounded almost like a callback, which I liked since I really liked Sea Legs.

God now I want to listen to the album again (again.)

The new Panther Like A Panther mix completely caught me off guard. The original mix they used in the Gears 4 adverts was kinda weak but this is the kind of forward thinking El-P production I was hoping for in the album.

Also melonhead is vexed and is implying this album is good enough to completely fuck up his AOTY list he posted a few days ago lol

Just got home after dealing with all this good will family shit and roast dinners now it's time to blaze and turn the volume up.

Best Christmas present.

How's El-P's rappin on this one? The man does more than enough in the production department, but his verses are my least favorite part of RTJ.

I thought he improved a lot from rtj to rtj2 but I don't think he's progressed at all in the rapping department since rtj2.

El-P is still boasting the booming bravado that you sometimes need Genius to decipher.

"'Notice me, senpai!' they cry when I choke their speak" might be the most El-P line in any of these albums yet.
