Once the new patch comes out game should look a lot better (some predicting, some guaranteed)

Way Up: Zenyatta, McCree, Reaper, Winston
Up: Mei, Genji, Soldier 76, Tracer, Symmetra, Hanzo, Sombra, Widowmaker
Slightly Up: Junkrat
Same: Torbjorn, Bastion
Slightly Down: Reinhardt, Zarya, Lucio
Down: Ana, Pharah
Way Down: D.Va, Roadhog
???: Mercy (Up-Same)
Why would Reinhardt and Lucio fall? Ana probably won't be affected too much as the nerf to her isn't enough. Would expect zarya to increase a bit since the other tanks got nerfed and Winston is situational.

The best healers are the ones that can kill Pharah consistently. Soldier and McCree have more important things to do these days, it seems.

IMO Mercy is actually a pretty good solo healer in QP because teams are less likely to have much coordination. Both Mercy and Lucio can self-heal and get away/catch up to teammates easily, while Ana is boned if she's left alone in the open, plus she doesn't want to use her grenade on herself most of the time.

Plus you don't really need Ana's burst healing abilities when your team consists of like 4 DPS and one tank anyway, especially when your team doesn't know how to take advantage of your sleep darts.

I'm just guessing Lucio will fall because more Sym, unless three support becomes viable Sym/Lucio don't make a duo support team comp. Reinhardt will fall because dive comps will come back, which means Winston will get used more. Really falling slightly means they are still used a lot, just not as much as the current meta dictates Rein and Lucio. You're probably right about Zarya, but I really didn't give her much thought.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ana and Reinhardt stay the same. Their kits are just too essential to pushing and fighting in general; even if Dive Comps come back, you'll probably still see Ana Nano-Boosting Reinhardt to shit on the other team with the other 2/3 divers.

Even Zen can solo heal a QP 4 DPS/1 Tank setup. Enemies die so quickly you barely even need to heal.

I'd be terrified of solo healing quick play with Zen. I always see people rushing headlong into death over and over. I can't heal that.

Same. Zen just can't solo heal. He is more like... DPS with the healing ability. Lol

I do it on occasion and it works more than it doesn't. Had a 4DPS/1Tank/Zen QP game on Ilios last night where I solo-healed 9K as Zen and easily won 2-0. Enemy team was running 2-2-2 with Lucio/Zen.

Got a healing card, too. Solo Zen is fine for QP. Not optimal, but fine.

Feels good when you cap both points in Hanamura/Volskaya with more than 6 minutes left. Matchmaking was on our side today.

Yep, today was a good day... finally.

I have had more draws this week than I think I've ever seen in the past two seasons lol. It's so frustrating to hold a point for 7 minutes just to tie.

Hoping for some good luck tonight though.
It felt like almost every Eichenwalde game I played in Season 2 was a Draw. Thankfully not so much in S3.

I knew you'd do it! Still 350 away for me :/

Some draws can feel like victories though :)

I think I've had less draws this season compared to the previous one, but I get the feeling that's because I'm actually losing more. I want my draws back.

Oh for sure, but like when I have a 30 minute game that I get no SR from it's exhausting. Especially when they take point one of Volskaya or Hanamura in a minute and a half and we have to dig in for a long second point defense.

As long as we can all agree that Zenyatta is the most fun support to play, we'll be fine.

The best way to support is to kill, so yes.

Zenn should be used more often in the Tank / Pharah meta that dominates pub competitive but I feel the passive healing of Lucio is just too good not to have.

Also my new pet peeve is Symmetras who won't use their shield and won't actually use their primary fire laser. It's like why even play her if you won't use half her kit?

It's still a mystery to me how Blizzard thinks having the spawn right next to the last or end of an objective is good map design. They seem to find that fun to play for some reason since pretty much all their maps are designed that way. Is there any explanation for that?
I pretty much avoid playing Anubis, Dorado, Holly, Volks and Eich on Attack. It's just not fun. Defending is pretty silly too to be honest... :/

Wtf no 1v1 in Arcade, how am I supposed to get the boxes in 30 mins now.
I know right.

3v3 is full of glitchers and every other arcade mode seems to have this weird bug where the game accidentally matches me and 5 randoms against a tryhard 6 stack that probably meant to queue into comp.

Wouldn't it make sense for the Dva ult to have a shorter timer but make it targetable? Would encourage teamwork and coordination to know if fleeing is the better option.

It seems kinda useless in 80%* of the time...

*numbers out of my ass.

It's because that's how you get intense close matches. Even when you shouldn't.

It's pretty much why I like KOTH the most. Although those maps have their own issues. Like Ilios being straight up garbage.

What do you mean by targettable?

So I'm at like 3550 and I get matched up with a guy who's 2900, and only plays Junkrat. But no he's not switching because he's getting kills, and for some reason 2 other teammates pick Sombra and Hanzo, and I have to go solo healer as Lucio while the other 2 teammates pick Reinhardt and DVa. So annoying, we almost won too and easily would've won if we had another healer.

And I somehow lost 60SR. Played last night, and today I looked and I was 60SR down.

I really don't understand what they were thinking with the recent nerf.

"Hmm, two buffs made her OP, how about to tone her down we give her two nerfs!"

....
At times Blizzard seem to be more interested in meta defining changes than reasonable balance tweaks.

It helps keep the game fresh, even if in a very forced and ham-fisted way.

The Overwatch team is way better about this than the Hearthstone team for sure though.
