I mean, you're entirely right - but I can't help but feel like a score that much lower than the average is trying less to be an actual review and more to be some kind of clickbait.
1080P, 60fps, improved IQ, better controls and all DLC.I never finished Gravity Rush on the Vita. Is the PS4 Remaster worth getting if I already own the Vita version?

(feel free to ignore/disregard this post)
I was away because of work and just got caught up to the thread, but I see many people commented on my earlier post on how parts of the game made me feel (and some are upset that I haven't replied yet). I didn't want to derail or anything, instead I just shared how it made me feel. I appreciate the candid posts and do know that I read them all and take them into consideration, I just can't reply to them all with a huge wall of text (I've been lambasted for those) nor do I want to derail the thread, since it can be a sensitive issue for some and my participation can be irritating to others who wants to talk about other stuff. Perhaps later on we can just do a thread about the specific topic instead.
why is GRAVITY RUSH REMASTERED PS4 RETAIL nowhere to be bought?
Anyone know if Newegg gets the preorder bonus? Amazon declined to match their price.
Ah, that's why I vever saw it in stores. Though I guess that 2nd hand copies are a possibility.Amazon exclusive!
Here's a link to the screenshots. I went for a zip on Drive as I couldn't order them easily on Imgur (not used to uploading many images there, if someone wants to shed some light i'd be happy to get and album done). They are taken from the Vita version, and have all the comic book parts and important dialogue (except for the first 2-3 chapters). There's also a folder for DLC (just the first pic and the "epilogue") and one for the Travellers.
Reviewer here. Can't think of much to add at the moment, but I will say that I can understand why the majority of reviews at present are falling within the 8/10 region (and higher); Gravity Rush 2 definitely feels like a game tailored more to those who've played the original rather than an attempt to attract newcomers more so. As someone who scored the game outside of the general consensus (though not by much), having read through several other reviews, no doubt the game's art-style and aesthetic is a conclusive win all-round. Currently messing about with some footage I captured during my playthrough - never really done anything with the stuff I record in the past, so why not. Here's a brief GIF to start off with. Playing about and experimenting with gravity is a time-waster but a great time-waster at that.
Any indication so far whether the ending of the game leaves room for a possible continuation?

I've seen one review that specifically outlines that the ending is extremely clear cut, and wraps up all loose threads from both games, "As if they were told there would be no more games in the series" if I remember right.
Can't watch at the moment but is there anything about supersampling on the Pro for 1080p TVs?DigitalFoundry has a video up examining the performance of the PS4 and PS4 Pro version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=174aNCB5XiA
They have a lot of praise for the game, as it has been optimized well for both PS4 and PS4 Pro, and there's a clear improvement compared to the demo in terms of framerate. It appears very stable now at 30fps on both systems.

He's been working on Gravity Rush for years now, I wouldn't be surprised if Toyama wants to work on something else now. The big question now is will it be lighter far like Gravity Rush or survival/horror like Silent Hill & Siren or something completely different.
Fantastic. Very good to see.http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1332551
The OP of that thread has bullet point details.
What on earth? Sony first party has been on a non-stop win for a while now, and I totally include TLG in that. This has been a recent trend. It's actually smart considering you get the entire weekend to play it if you buy it on release.
So tempted to buy this after reading these reviews. I wonder how much you will miss if you haven't finished GR1. Plus that week is already crowded with Yakuza 0 and KH 2.8, my wallet is going to get hammered lol.
These guys really deserve the positive feedback. The game looks great and after The Last Guardian, Sony first party really needed a win (imo)

That's also a question that's been on my mind so I gathered some information on that. Be warned that even though I don't know the details about the ending yet either (and I'd like to keep it that way), I consider the following answer to be a spoiler nonetheless.Any indication so far whether the ending of the game leaves room for a possible continuation?

Just in case anyone doesn't want to see my direct response, but I'm not giving any actual details:.....Not quite......
After about 10 minutes of searching I couldn't find exactly which review I got that from, but I do remember seeing something to that effect, though maybe it's context was different.
Judging from the quote I believe you're referring to the Ars Technica review. It's one of the most spoiler-heavy reviews out there at the moment in terms of the game's ending. To clear up any confusion, their take on the ending is:
"Gravity Rush 2 closes the book so tightly on its own fiction, it's as if someone told the developers there would be no more sequels. That makes for a satisfying, if bittersweet—not to mention bonkers—closing to the series' proper console debut."
and
"The ending leaves no plot hole, or story beat, unexplored."
Naming your characters based on goddess doesn't reek controversy , Untill unless the appearance of them is also matched to the said goddesses and is presented in some Horrible Manner , Than it may offend some people like me Tbh.

Yeah, I think it is a system you have to play around with. It took me a bit to get the hang of it in the remaster but once I got to that point, it was smooth sailing from there.I wish I could get into this game because of the art style and the music but I played the demo and the controls were just off to me. Floating and falling from platform to platform never really lined up correctly. I guess it takes practice.
