Dammit I was so sure Orange was a 12 episode show and binged all the dub since I thought it was finished...only to see that I played myself and that it's 13 episode :(

the 16th is so far away.

Does Orange never not become a gross show where a happily married wife in the future tells her past self to save her friend by banging him?
Well if it can save your friend from
committing suicide
, I say do whatever it takes. Mainly if
they really do love each other and are just too bad at saying it

Yeah but wouldn't that mean she's
killing her own child? If that's the case then
fuck the friend!!!

They do say they don't change the future and that it's all parallel worlds, so her baby is all safe! I mean you don't really kill him if he never existed in your world.

That's not...quite what is going on...

No. They establish that them
changing the past is effectively making a parallel timeline and not really saving him in their own timeline.

?

you can save someone without changing the life you had. A high school crush compared to years you've spent with your husband and your baby does not equate.

It's a weird premise. I find it gross.

Zestiria - 3-4
This all works so much better as an anime. Again, a couple more scenes were added that made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable

Berseria - 1 & 2 Zestiria - 5-6
Digged it. Not enough to make me run and preorder the game but it seems interesting plot wise.

They never actually say to drop her current husband to go out with Kakeru in her present. They actually never tell to Naho in any letter whatsoever that she married Suwa. All the letters Naho got says are events that happens which sometimes come with suggestions(like don't let him come with us so he can go see his mother). The one actively saying to his present-self to bring Naho and Kakeru together is the Suwa of the futur.

Dragon Maid 01

Okay, that was way better than I thought it would be. Tohru is legitimately adorable. From the PV I thought the show was going to be stupid but it actually ended up being pretty good.

Konosuba S2 01

Well... that was okay I guess. The OP was funnier/better than anything in the episode. Hopefully the rest of the season is a return to form.

LMAO

this just went from gross to
Cuck
. Regardless, I have zero interest in this as I still find it weird. And I'm probably too bothered by the
time travel
system because let's be honest anybody else in this world would use this shit to get rich.

Oh it's one of those time travel stories.

I still find it weird
because well I dunno, I'd find it hard press to say you can erase my child from an alternate timeline just because I really liked this one girl. You can argue if it's killing someone if they never existed but eh webbly wobbly timey whammy stuff I guess, still seems wrong to me.

EDIT: Okay I just saw your post to Admiral, Gold. WHAT?!

I suppose it was a good thing I was half asleep when I watched the movie on my flight back to England haha.

Well to be fair, from what they say at around episode 10,
they aren't even sure their letters ever reached their past self and can't confirm at all. Also like it was said previously they can't change their future because of parallel worlds and all, so the getting rich scheme seems like a completely stupid idea.

Happy birthday!

Thunderbolt Fantasy 2

Now this is more like it. Banter from beginning to end, nearly. I liked the writing of the fighting that made up the latter third or so of the episode - whereas in other fighting sequences I might get annoyed by characters just standing around talking to each other, here the writing is good enough to sell that. It was great how character after character just kept showing up, and they had their own delightful eccentric personalities. There was even some nice visual touches to the depiction of the archer's use of his bow.

That sudden cliffhanger at the end was pretty hilarious though.

Gurren Lagann - 07

That was awesome. Kamina is a crazy bastard and poor Simon gets roped behind him. Still he seems to be learning from these situations and becoming more and more crafty and dependable.

Man, I love the designs of the mecha in TTGL that got introduced in that episode. Kittan's banana man robot and the walking knife with legs (take a guess what that's suppose to represent, hehe) are GOAT-tier robots that do awesome stuff in the show.

Rage of the Bahamut;Genesis- END
Well, that was a pretty damn fun ride to a finish. Nothing ended the way I thought it would so tgat element of surprise was really good. Also, by the end , all of the characters were pretty endearing (even the loli zombie), which is tough in a 12 episode show.

I'm interested to see where they go with season 2

I feel like the show suffered being so short. The second season will hopefully do much better seeing as its 24 ep.

Indeed. They go all out on this episode too.

Feelsbadman. Poor Simon had his heart broken.

Also that one thing that I was spoiled on happens here. The fight itself was phenomenal, even though the ending was so sad.

The ending was pretty quick, but it was a good stoppibg point where the current issue was resolved. At the same time, they left a ton of room for additional content and more questions to be answered. I mean, Amira
had a 5 year olds brain stuck in a 20 year old's body, but she suddenly matures into an adult to kiss him at the end????

It was a cute scene, but full of holes from the previous plot.

TTGL episode 8 is probably one of the best emotional roller-coasters I've ever seen in an anime.

The latter half of this episode was when I knew I was watching something special. I was in a complete state of utter shock.

Also, if you think all the fights you've seen up until now have been impressive, I cannot wait for you to watch episode 15.

The writer of Virgin Soul posted the episode count on her blog.
Get outta here, really? This makes my day. It had one of my favorite first episodes in years based on its animatography, motion, set pieces, character design, plot (stupid me thinking this would continue, am I right?). I hope people give it a chance past its terrible...horrible source content.

Bungo Stray Dogs 9

The date sequence was excellent. It had exactly the kind of visual balance and sharp editing I've come to expect from the best of Igarashi's style, and Iwasaki's plaintive piano and strings music made it emotionally effective as well. I really love the ritualistic repetitions Igarashi has employed in this series.

Next episode looks to be an animation powerhouse.

What a roller coaster indeed, and I'd say this one was another one. The extremely gloomy look in Simon's eyes, the depression that hit everyone so hard after what happened... and then when Simon finds Nia in the rain, and as they speak, you slowly see the light coming down. And Old Coco is still around LOL!!! And that ending?! What a bombshell ahaha.
