Playing this game in PSVR on the Pro. I only lasted about 15 minutes.

D: I'm gonna have to play it tomorrow, I can't take it! TOO SCARY!!

Jesus, this game is brutal.
Getting killed by a chainsaw is no joke. Absolutely gruesome.
And the Evil Dead vibe is definitely there for sure. The way Mia moves and acts is incredibly realistic.

Tension is unbelievable. Can't believe we are getting a RE like this.

I think It's a pretty damn nice looking game with the settings cranked to high. For some reason the default settings had the rendering set to interlaced and downscaled to 80% which made it look ugly as shit.

This game feels a bit overwhelming after playing for long hours.

Played for 3 straight hours with the Headset. I pressed start, took the headset off and immediately breathed very deep.

Guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow to continue. The atmosphere is just mind blowing

First three encounters with the Barker's and the entire intro was way more intense than I imagined. Kudos do Capcom on hiding from the Web and making it so special.

Yes totally. Love, love, love the opening. Just scary enough to be tense, but not "need to stop playing" scary like SOMA was for me. While still being crazy and over-the-top enough to be fun and want to see where everything goes, and brutally gory enough to not feel campy

And that was like closest we're ever going to get to Evil Dead in game form. Mia was even the name of the protagonist in the 2013 remake and she wears a similar outfit

Hope the game keeps up like the opening, because I'm loving this so far

Some areas have heavy and ugly dithering in the shadows and other times it looks almost photo realistic. Overall, I'll take it.

So I'm trying to run the steam version on my samsung ks9000. I only have a gtx 780 so I wasn't expecting hdr to work. I can select it, but everthing just becomes bright and washed out. I tried disabling hdr and still, the game has a washed out look

I had to tell myself it's just a game... It may not be photo realistic but the feeling of being there is just... holy fuck. It's just a game!

The part with the water was like gnawing at all my fears of water.

Anyone playing on Ps pro with an hdr tv and able to tell me how i can turn on the maximum brightness (of something like this, playing the german version) ?

For me this option is greyed out and it says i need hdr to use it, but i made sure hdr is enabled.

But hey, that's cool. As I have never in my life played a game that hits on Evil Dead notes like that. This game is going to be one crazy ride.

They are VERY intense. Very clunky. Very Brutal. Very punishing. And very rewarding when you surpass the challenge

I did the first 3. 2 of them are still on my head. So FUCKING good despite clunky controls.

i almost cant do it. I just entered the house and its terrifying. I honestly cant imagine this in vr. first person is scary enough.

man. this one will be a struggle.

Played for an hour, and it's fucking scary! I'm excited because I haven't been properly scared while playing a game in a while and dear god this scaring the shit out of me so far. Calling it quits for tonight because I have to work in the AM but I am loving it so far.

This game is going to test my fucking limits of what I can tolerate in VR... And by that I mean just how visceral is too much. The sense of presence in the game is astounding and I have to keep stopping. The demo was already a lot but this... I keep having to look behind me and things like that.

Idk if I can play this I really don't know. I literally just entered the house and this shit is terrifying. I really don't know how someone can play something like this in VR you have balls of steel if you are though.

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
Opening of the game looks kinda dull and washed out in HDR.

My calibration is right... just looks rather bad.

The handgun honestly feels fine. About perfect for this sort of game, actually. As Ethan is not Commando, lol.

Anyway, I am going to pick it back up tomorrow. Just wanted to get a bit of time with it in before hitting the sack. It is incredible so far.
